I'm just so excited. I made the chip bag today and it came out awesome. So much fun. It took me a while to get around word as I had to figure out where everything was. Lots of practice getting around the program. I made Valentine chip bags for my grandkids and they loved them. Thanks so much for the great tutorial. Your so easy to follow. Now on to my next project. :)

You might have your settings to print black and white check your printer settings

Thank you..honestly I have never used photoshop I design using Microsoft word publisher or my silhoutte studio..I havent tried doing PVC credit cards but if is just for designing I'm pretty sure you can do it on any software..

How do u insert the borders w/o the header and footer popping up. Its creating page break lines at the top and bottom of the border boxes
Hi can you do a video just like this but using the updated microsoft word? I'm confused on how to save the file
The save as, is the same for all updated Microsoft. If you know how to save regular documents, it's no different. Also if you don't know how to do something in Word, ask the question at the top on the right side in the magnify glass. Or ask Google on your phone, laptop or tablet. It will give you step by step instructions. I hope that helped.

I know I’m late but THANKS for the great tutorial in MSWord! Lol. I learned a lot. One issue I’m having is not all my png images from google are saving transparent and the white background is still in some of my pics. How can I prevent that from happening? Thanks again for the great videos!

Just a heads up for anyone making these, especially if you are planning to sell them, it is against copyright law to go into Google images and copy any image you want from there. All those images belong to the person who created it and they can sue you for using their work without permission. I am an experienced seller and started out using Google images myself until I found out the hard way about copyright laws when I got a cease and desist letter - I was SO scared!! Luckily, they let it go once I agreed to pull all the product down with their images on it. After that, I took it upon myself to learn all about Copyright and it is really scary guys! So please be careful!! It is considered stealing to use someones copyrighted images. So in other words, pulling just any images you want off Google image search is no different than swiping a candy bar from your grocery store without paying for it. Do your research and find images that are made specifically to be shared freely or ones you can pay for in exchange for being able to use them. Make sure to read the rules on the website or image listing because some are for PERSONAL use only, meaning you can not sell anything with that image or any part of that image on it or else the creator can sue you. If you are selling, please make sure the image you are using says specifically for COMMERCIAL use, or you could always ask and get permission from the creator yourself before using it. It seems like no big deal, but from exprience I can tell you it is really serious and scary stuff. I just wanted to post this to prevent someone else from running into a legal issue like I nearly did!

It all depends on experience level..
You also need to break down how much your supplies cost ..
The time it takes you to design ..assemble etc..

But creating your own templates is really easy all you have to do is measure what u would like to customize and enter the height and width into the software you are using..

My margins don’t seem to be the same because I end up over lapping the top and bottom rectangle
I’m not able to get the same word art that your using how do I get to that? I’m currently using the trial Microsoft word and what type and size paper do you use and what type of printer? Would a regular printer work? Sorry for all of the questions I’m just now getting started
I explained in the beginning of the video what mode I saved my document ...I have never used the trial so I'm not sure..check on the description bar for my other tutorials I show what kind of papers I like to use on my video showing how to assemble chip bags..I use an Wf Epson 7710 inkjet printer is all an preference of what u would like to use..

Hi no matter what paper I use when i print the blk always smudges but not the other colors i used to diff printers n still the black smudges. Does that happen to u?
No it does not. .make sure the paper is compatible with your printer and change printer settings

Hi Andrina. I have Microsoft word but when I am trying to insert the picture in the middle rectangle, the picture jumps and does not land in the middle. I don't have too much of a problem with the sides. Do you know why this might be happening? Thanks

What kind of paper !! I bought photoish paper for a glossy finish & all the ink keeps rubbing off 😩
Make sure paper is compatible with your printer and change printer settings

You don't need the machine to use the software you will be printing and assembling no need for the machine
When I print my chip bag, the image I used seem to print larger than the print preview. I only get a portion of the pictures I use. For example, I get only the corner of a nutrition facts label. Everything is within margin. The only work around that I have found for this is to save the word document as a pdf file. However, the print from this is darker and quality is not as good. Do you know what I

hi, I google the png images. they still are not transparent. I rename them adding the .png extention and they still have a gray and white. Is there a way to tell if it's a true PNG file? please help!
If they have a white and grey little squares in the back that means they are transparent..

After u search on Google and u lols the image u have to click on it then after that u will right click it and save it to your computer
For some reason when I do mine its running off the paper. Mine look super larger than yours and I have the same margins that you are using

Wonder why everything looks the same except my page size is smaller than yours even thought it says 8.5x11 an when I put in your measurements for the rectangle boxes mine are too big to be able to add top boxes.

Ok so I’m wanting to print but my words are not transferring with the document! When I save. What am I doing wrong
Make sure everything was text wrapped to the front..or always go to print preview before you print to see how everything looks
It’s showing on the print preview but once I try to email it to myself is when it’s not showing the words. Is there an easier way to print? I’m taking them to Office Depot
I explained it in the tutorial you have to save it as a pdf file if you are sending it to a customer ..or printing somewhere else or emailing it to someone..if their computer phone etc is not compatible with the fonts you used it is not going to show ..it has to be saved as a pdf file ..
