The Adeptus Mechanicus are one of the few organizations/people who are NOT required to worship the Emperor of Man as a God, due to the Treaty of Mars they signed with the Imperium sometime back. Also, the Space Marines are not required to worship the Emperor as a God. They revere him as the Founder of the Imperium and their "AllFather", but not a God.
Hello there. I just subbed to you yesterday after watching your Imperial Guard Video. I LOVE your channel so far!!! I remember reading somewhere that a standard space marine with his full kit, powered armor, bolter, grenades, etc is about 750 lbs. They are literally walking cover.
And then there are the crimson fists, whose gene seed has mutated them into a "not one step back" mentality broken into three stages, with stage three meaning if he doesn't see victory, retreat has NO meaning.
I’m going to assume he is Primaris, 200 years is not terribly long, unless this is 200 years after the First Founding. He seems extraordinarily large though.
What's your opinion on the helmet section? For me, I preferred a one-piece helmet where the marine can seal/unseal it by themselves. Also, if you compared this to the Raptor fan film, which one would you prefer?
While helmet may be multipart, it doesn't mean you can't put on/remove it as a single piece. As for Raptor video - it's okay, but was more a tribute to Iron man/Starcraft2 suit up scenes. It's too clean and too mechanized. That's why I prefer GW's one - it's more lore accurate.
marines have had "half helmet" options in the kits for a LONG time (long before primaris), it makes sense for them to be multipart things for maintenance and repair when you consider all the subsystems/modules that are crammed in those things. and as someone else pointed, once its assembled here with ritual and proper facilities, no reason to think that its not functionally "one-piece" until a techpriest or techmarine gets their hands on it again.
I say both Raptor and this one can be lore accurate precentation of the armoring process it is just how much reverence do the chapter give to the thing really.
Love the insight and interpretation as always! On an unrelated note, am I f’ing up spelling your name “Connor”? I’ve seen it a few different ways across various comments and figured I’d just ask 😁
They're not immediately in danger, they can do it on a much shorter time frame and regularly train for such. They're probably a few hours out from battle, he can take his time
Primaris are supposed to be even larger then regular marines and firstborn are supposed to be anywhere upwards of 8 feet tall, so the average of a primaris should be atleast 9 ft tall. He should tower over these regular humans and be absolutely massive horizontally.
@@NastyStankyChicken that’s the point of why I said short primaris or tall serf Also Custodies are 9ft and in that one story where they fought primaris the custodies look up in order to stare down the primaris so I’d say 10ft

Chaos is just misunderstood chief, you really need to start cutting them some slack haha, they're not as bad as people make them out to be. The way that helmet was put together was just plain weird though. It was a good vid, I kinda preferred the Raptor though, to be fair. The Raptor just seemed a little more personal.
My idea on the helmet is that when you first put it on it's assembled piece by piece but once you're in the field I imagine you can take it off in one piece, I think it's an interesting concept that the primarus equipment is overly complicated to assist with maintenance and interchangeability as opposed to Old School marine armor which was more individualistic and thus probably more difficult to repair or get parts on a large scale as opposed to this armor which while it does have a lot of pieces I imagine there's a lot of interchangeability plus all of the different marks of the primarus armor probably contributes to the fact that primarus armor is designed to be interchangeable as opposed to having designated armor suits if that makes sense.
@@1378Mrbubbles Not to mention it allows the marine some flexibility with field maintenance and protection. If the top of the helmet was fucked up in a battle, he could take that piece off without sacrificing the armor on his lower face

Well said.Adapts Mechanicus has some technology which they don't share with entire emperor
The Emp did trick them with restoring forgotten tech though. Aren’t their new lore that of the trinity? Omnissiah, Emperor, and Motive Force?
I saw it as there being different perspectives among the tech priests on that. Maybe the omnissiah but not the machine god. The messiah of the god.
Pre-heresy Era = Mechanicum
Post-heresy Era = Mechanicus

The Fused Ribcage is one of the 1st Genetic upgrades that a Space Marine gets.

Knowing what the Imperium is up against, only a supersoldier will have the necessary fortitude to face it.
I wanna see a terminator armoring. Lol

That helmet is a mx.10 helmet for the primaris, it’s a two part with the bottom part basically being a gas mask and the top is the real helmet

The babies are Cherubs.
I wonder if the Space Marines ever have to spend hours recleaning already clean weapons because the armorer is imagining feelings of dirtiness... lol

The Adeptus Mechanicus are really the most terrifying characters in the Imperium.
I think it's impractical to take such a long time for getting ready
They're not immediately in danger, they can do it on a much shorter time frame and regularly train for such. They're probably a few hours out from battle, he can take his time

You can get that big with steroids we have now tho.
