Dar Williams joins the Jason Spooner Trio at Portland, Maine's annual Old Port Festival for a cover of Bob Dylan's classic "Girl From The North Country."
I love the way the camera get close to the musician's mouth when he's playing the harmonica. I didn't realize that one played a harmonica with the mouth, but the camera's placement helped me understand that.
Superb version; one of the best on TH-cam; bring a little tear to my bitter eye. The fiddle adds unique emotions to this cover - pulls the bittersweetness of the song.
Absolutely one of my favorite Dylan early songs. It’s O.K. …. But still doesn’t approach the Dylan loneliness, and wistfulness of the 60’s original. They lost me with rocked out ending. Thanks for the fair beginning, should have stuck with it.
So good!
One of my favorite song. Of course Dylan and Cash sing this one perfectly
On one recording of Cash and Dylan, you can hear the pouring a drink.
Love it ..great version..all the band members did a great job..liked and subbed..may be this is my 100 view ..lol
WOW...........JUST DISCOVERED THIS.............BRILLIANT......JUST BRILLIANT!!!!
great song sung on this occasion with a lot of passion.
Memories of a lot of good people!!
Super. I approve and love it. A Dylan fan since 1964, age 16. Seen him countless times. You're doing fine.

You did Bob Dylan proud!!!

Not esay to play the harmonica and guitar at the same time.

Poor version imo, overdone.
It's a perception thing cuz I love this cover. One of the best versions in my opinion and I grew up in the 60"s.
