PEC (Periodic Error Correction) on EZ PUSH TO

A Dob user ever thought to implement the encoders on his toy. EZ PUSH TO is reallly a good solution definitely.
They may be curious how accurate the PUSH TO could be, especially from a new product and new company. Actually, it is very simple to evaluate its performance.
We could make very precise protractor on the Dob's base. There are 8 marked scales every 45° (8 x 45° = 360°).
It is quite easy to mark them as precise as possible. We could use encoder value to do the 1st guess of interval (0°~45°). Then, repeat the guessed interval to mark (45°~90°), then (90°~135°).... After 8 times, the 360° would perfectly match the 0° when the guessed interval is exactly 45°. After little trial & error, the satisfied protractor on the Dob is well done.
