I'm Brazilian, I really liked the project! What adaptations should be made to an SVBONY MK105? Due to the high cost of equatorial assemblies in Brazil, I am setting up a Dobsonian project.
I’m looking on converting my Orion xt10 in pretty much the same manor you did. I find a lot of resistance to this idea and everyone says this impossible and it can’t be done go buy yourself a 1500$+ 8 inch on a eq mount. I say it is possible and much cheaper and you have proved that as well as a few others. Could you possibly include some sort of parts list so I can try this myself. Thank you.

You can forget the all offset in the menu, and align the target again. The xx is reserved because it is the first star chosen to be encoder origin

@@wyattc6572 The website certainly is not what you claim. There are absolutely no descriptions of what you're getting in each option...everything is out if stock. Rather than include descriptions, or offer full kits...the website literally says to contact them before ordering to avoid confusion and orders will be cancelled based on that confusion. What company makes a confusing website, then blames customers if they are confused...how about take 5 minutes and clarify the confusion?

Just to confirm, does this continue to follow an object once it's found it and locked on to it?
Yes. the system defaults tracking all the time as encoders are offset. the goto moves to the target guided by encoders. The accuracy of goto is 0.1 degree. Certainly, you can push the telescope close to the target and let the goto takes it over. The tracking is activated as the telescope reaches the target. In tracking, the motors travels with the averaged (15s ~ 5min) speed to ensure few seconds camera exposure.

you probably already figured this out- but there is the other way to align with different stars and set the offset

I have installed Push to Kit. Due to some reason I am not going to use it for next 9 months. how to store it? Can I keep Azimuth Encoder module attached? will it have any impact on magnate? FYI, This video helped lot to install and installation was very easy.
