  • The clip shows how to improve system accuracy with the help of Polaris. Recommend the method if you have tried QUICK START.
    Polaris is almost at North, and its altitude is the observer latitude. You can see it anytime in US at clear night. Using Polaris for the encoders offset is actually the best way (quick and acuurate).
    After that, you may need multi-stars alignment to make sure AZ-ALT encoders precise in any direction. The clips shows how to complete the whole procedure.

    What does it mean when I get the message Zone 12 already reserved?

      You can forget the all offset in the menu, and align the target again. The xx is reserved because it is the first star chosen to be encoder origin

    I live in Colombia in the city of Pereira, which is 4 degrees 24 minutes north latitude. I cannot locate and observe the polar star because a large mountain prevents me. What is done in that case to configure the push to system of the application and the telescope ???

      you probably already figured this out- but there is the other way to align with different stars and set the offset
