- Installed MK 7.5 Headlights on my MK& Golf R Wagon and replaced the stock halogen headlights with an HID conversion kit! The golf r wagon build series is underway!

Been trying to work out if I should fit the mk7 or mk7.5 headlights to my red golf R-line. Really like the mk7.5 a bit more now. You should get a comparison of the two

Is there a link to be able to buy them? Being a replica, how is the quality of the materials? Does it come complete with ECU to reset OBD errors?
Can someone explain me, į bought vw golf wagon not R not GTi, but į have led lights likę you, but mine only One wing works on turn signal and on One wing daytime running, im asking vw why iš this they say, that if there is some problem u will see on dash warning, I have no wornings, but only One wing works on both sides, why is that? My golf is 2018 years
Hi Andrew, I'm looking into installing these headlights but was just wondering how you connected the relay harness? How did you get it through into the headlight itself and does the car show any bulb out errors since I assume one of the factory H7 plugs would be left undone since the harness powers both headlights? Cheers :)
Will it affect the auto daytime ability?? So when I switch it to auto headlight will it turn on just daytime light when it’s morning and then switch to heigh mean when it’s dark/evening?
I have a 2016 golf 7 gti, bought the mk7.5 headlights and dont know what to do because i have the hid headlights rn. Would be glad if you coule help me out with what i need to buy to install the correctly

Hey, i have a mk7 tdi and i listen people say that headlights from mk7.5 doesn't fit to the mk7, is that true?

That’s correct, MK7.5 won’t fit on MK7 that’s why they’re reps. In the video I explain that the low beams are an HID conversion and the high beams are led. Appreciate the comment! Cheers!

Yep! As long as you don’t have HID’s it’s just plug and play for any MK7 Golf model

I just bought those same headlights, inside come loose ballasts, how did you glue them?
Who did you order them from? I’ve had zero issues with mine.
I got them from a distributor in Mexico, the ballasts had double-sided adhesive and they came off due to shipping.
Where did you get the low beam light my headlights didn’t come with them
I ordered the HID kit from Retro Fit Source.
I have a 2019 golf 1.4t any suggestions as to what I should do?
Just depends what style you want to go for. Stance points or power and go from there.
How do you get your drl and low beam on at the same time? When my low beam is on my drl turns off
That’s just the functionality of these aftermarket headlights.
Andrew McGarry is there no way of getting them coded to stay on at same time?
@@asxfdar Hi mate. I just coded mine today, when my xenon are on the DRL went off but now they stay on at 50% brightness.
