This very scenario unfolds in an episode of Supermission, where a designer finds herself subjected to such disrespect by an impolite store clerk. Ironically, she is the creative genius behind the luxurious suit being offered in the store! By the time the store clerk realizes what she did, it would be too late!

Every customer should be treated as if they are a VIP.
If you have to tell your staff to be on their best behavior, they’re in the wrong position.

I agree with the clothing designer. The boss had obviously known about the salesperson's poor attitude and, instead of giving multiple chances, should have fired her sooner.
Dude is not appropriate for how anyone should ever address their boss.

I agree. I don't work in retail, but I work for a business, and I know that attitude is everything, and so is how a worker treats a customer, whoever she or he may be.

Angela was expecting some one the Ray Charlies came she thought they sent a blind man but when she found out she cleared air see not all it's one side you have to say who you are and say who you work for.
Never judge a book by it's cover. You may be shocked what lies within.. Plus don't judge others less you're ready to be judged yourself.. It is called respecting others.

All she had to do was Google the designer and she would’ve known who it was.
I don't know that I would have allowed 1 employee to cause me to decide whether or not to launch my high fashion clothing line, their store, or not.
This is what happens when you tolerate an employee's bad attitude instead of replacing the employee with someone who will be an asset. Especially where customer or client contact is inherent to the job.
That woman would have been fired!

When people learn not to judge a book by it's cover? They also give a bogus excuse saying "Well I didn't know who he/she was", it makes no difference if you know who the person is or not, you should still treat them with the same amount of dignity and respect. Having an attitude like that will always get you in trouble.

I worked in retail and we never treated anyone rudely even if the customer was rude.
And after Karen was fired, her boyfriend broke up with her, and her daddy who had been spoiling her for her entire life, allowing her to mooch off him, froze her assets and destroyed her credit cards, reducing her to a sniveling little crybaby! 😂😋

When I took my son to get a tux for his prom, he wanted outlandish colors and I was willing to pay for them. We went to 3 tux shops until he got the help he deserved. Yes he was silly but he was confident and he was happy.

I've seen a lot of videos along these lines, but I have to wonder: is that sort of attitude a Los Angeles or New York City thing? I've looked around in stores that were definitely above my pay grade, but I've never been treated with blatant disrespect by salespeople.
Karens need to know that people design good characters, not characters with a stuck up attitudes to bring them down.
we had a store here called Blackburns and my sister who worked there, she helped everybody, she did not judge if they were rich or poor, she helped everybody and these are the good things I remember about my sister

I like the clothes that Jane Myers wore. It’s too bad Karen made a bad first impression.
Jane Myers thought her new fashion trend on the blazer's fabric.would take the clothing shop by storm, but all of that backfired. The clothing shop managed by Steve went out of business due to the lack of sales and customers alike. Steve found another job as a mechanic, and Karen decided to be a DIY maker and saleswoman. It is unknown if she ever changed her attitude.
I have seen that most of these arrogant girls are named as Karen...

Karen wants customers to pour in, she nearly didn't recognize Jane as the creator and genius behind the store!! Giving sass to Steve before the customer was out of line, she needed to polish her attitude and manners!! she is bound to slip up profiling Jane and earn Steve's wrath through her dismissal!! She should have asked for her name, not mock about affordability, it will be too late!!!

Here's a tip for all clerks: Clerks should stick to working and being kind to the customers or at least respectful! And if they don't, then their not a good match to be called store clerk! 😡😡🤨😤😤😔😔🤦♀️

Why do people think that rich people can't dress like normal folks? I mean yeah there are some rich people who dress flashy almost all the time but you do have a certain view that like to go out and just normal clothing and be treated like normal people and not because their status.

Why can't the boss let the worker know that the investor will be going undercover as a customer in advance? That way, the worker can work on the attitude beforehand, before said customer comes in.
But then the boss will never know how the employees work in normal curcumstances if they are forewarned.
Outcome narrator: Nobody should be subjected to discrimination of any kind, especially when just because someone isn’t dressed how people seem, doesn’t mean they’re not human and are unable to afford the fanciest clothes. We are all the same and should be treated equally no matter the circumstances. After Karen was terminated form her job, her boyfriend Kevin found out about everything When going to find a dress for his mother’s birthday at the same store. He was so disgusted with her behavior that he called her out for her own insecurities and judging people by the way they look. I’m tact it wasn’t even the first time either as for the past 3 years they were together, he had to deal with Karen’s behavior a lot. Within moments, he broke up with her on the spot, packing all his things and leaving her for good. Karen thought it couldn’t get any worse until her parents too found out about what she did and pulled her off their will and position of their company. Regretting her behavior she attempted to get back with Kevin only to be rejected due to only being sorry she was exposed. No fashion store would hire her due to bad references and ended up penniless, homeless and all alone, leaving her no choice but to find a job at a local fast food restaurant
Abso-fucking-lutely! Particularly after she said that she would treat this *"customer"* with kindness and respect. It's bad enough that she treated this customer horribly, but she lied to her boss about it! She deserved *far worse* than to be fired from her job. And her statement at the end, seems typical of those who lose their jobs on this channel: *"Not even a nice suit anyway!"* I've been fired from jobs before, but at least I've been respectful towards my former co-workers! Why are those on these videos so disrespectful towards those who fire them? It's so goddamned un-called for.

After Karen was terminated from her job, she spent the entire day drinking. She got in a wreck, killing her instantly.
