Rogue One the best movie they released Diego Luna great actor. Andor’s edgy and original twist plots does make it have its own charm compared to other predictable Star Wars shows
Fall of 2025, the visual FX will blow everything out of the water thus far. Imo Gilroy and his team should head the Thrawn trilogy.
Season 2 started filming almost right after the finale of Season 1 dropped, and they originally had about a 9 month shoot planned. They had less than a month left to shoot when the actors strike started and officially shut down production, so im glad to see that they're wasting little time in wrapping up. I saw elsewhere that it's slated to release in January 2025.

I've just watched Citizen Kane properly
Like Bladerunner, nobody watched Citizen Kane when it first came out - only re-releases on TV years later resulted in these becoming utter classics
It sometimes takes a few goes to recognise utter quality!

It’d be awesome if we get an episode centering on Bodhi Rook meeting Galen Erso, showing that relationship,
Leading to Rook’s defection before Rogue One.
This is a pleasant surprise. I was worried that it would be cancelled due its lower than expected viewership, really happy to see they’re almost already finished with season 2.
That's because they paid for both seasons up front - a massive amount of money that takes into consideration building sets and recording on location in the UK during Covid lockdown.
It's a triumph on every level..
How they decided to make this masterpiece, at such great expense (250 million space bucks) is still a mystery
Why 12 episodes of utter awesome - instead of the usual 6? [it's going to be 24 episodes]
Somebody at the very top financed this project. They must have.
It's probably Kathleen Kennedy, given that she must have wrote in the bungee jump; the leap of faith that leads to greatness.
And nobody would ever suspect Kathleen of making a terrific Star Wars show - it was the perfect cover ...
Whatever. Andor is - in my opinion - the best ever Star Wars

1. Empire- 9.6/10
2. A New Hope- 9.5/10
3. The Clone Wars 4 part finale- 9/10
4. Andor- 8.6/10
5. Return of the Jedi- 8.4/10
I hope Andor Season 2 is so good that it kicks Return of the Jedi out of the Top 5!
I can't wait, probably what I enjoyed the most from the Star Wars TV series with Mando season 1 and 2.
I can't wait.
It's a shame it didn't win - but it starred elite actors that will probably be snaffled up by Succession and the likes of other serious shows.
This is Star Wars done properly - the craftsmanship on display is exceptional

I know if D+ wants me to come back, they need to offer some SW material. I am not, at this point, coming back until some SW material arrives. I would think I'm not alone in this, and Disney has to understand this. So, put it out in '24
Thrawn would be a perfect character to be included in a show like this. All the ISB scheming is right up his alley.
The writers of Andor wouldve handled Thrawn way better than Dave Filoni
I agree with Rob, Andor Season 2 is the most anticipated Star Wars coming up for me. Id say pay Tony Gilroy to keep him making D+ Star Wars shows.
Because of the strikes and lack of content I think it won't air until late 2025. Maybe they could consider spliting it uo into two parts.

The craftsmanship of Andor puts ALL of the other Star Wars shows to shame ... so Disney knows that it needs to be left until last ... and the strikes forced their hand

You don’t need to understand it just accept that somebody else has different tastes different than yours

Andor is the only star wars show that is watchable. All others are garbage
This is not Star Wars just a British drama.
Star Wars is basically an extension of how the pompous "fat and satisfied" British Empire - became so technologically advanced that it decided to conquer the planet and enrich itself ... which led to its downfall
That's exactly true of the first Star Wars movie ...
The Empire should always be competent and scary and technologically and militarily advanced (like the British Empire was in real life)
There was enough in the original 2 movies, and Andor, to suggest that they were a terrifying force
So, if this is a "British drama", then you are correct - an allegory for The British Empire which is the most well known main antagonist organisation for Star Wars
