I was happy with the writeup but I thought making a video too would make it easier for some guys to follow along. I also will be doing / have done the steering shaft differently for an easier assembly, omission of factory parts, and safety.
Very informative! Love it mate. Here in Australia we use the Holden Astra Ts electro/hydraulic power steering unit for most cars. Very easy fitment, wiring ect. Can be mounted pretty much anywhere in the engine bay area and some track cars have it in the cabin. Just runs the pressure feed and return from and to the rack and pinion.
@@BlitzenDesignLab yeah it's a very common upgrade to get eps. Like I said only thing it is hydraulic also so it has a little reservoir attached to the motor assy. I have also looked at vw polo unsure of what model they use similar setup. I will be doing the Astra conversion soon to m daily and both my project cars.
The writeup on xenon is good but this is even better! Thanks Kelvin

Very interesting! Here in Canada we got a similar car but under the Saturn badge, I never realized it has a setup like that!

Awesome was hoping someone would make a video on this conversion!
Very cool! Looking forward to part 2!
Definitely gonna do this on my s130
Yay now guys can watch this instead of harassing you for a sales link!
Can u please tell me what year model the electronic steering assist came from?
Sorry to get back to you late. This came from a first generation Nissan Versa/Tiida, sold from 2006 to 2012
