It was a giant pain in the ass mixing oil and gas at the gas station... trying to calculate odd amounts of oil/ and gas. I rode on of these ( borrowed) for a couple of weeks circa 1964. During break in you had to use a LOT of oil... and man did that leave a trail of smoke for miles ! Using plain old motor oil in those days. next model was the yds3 with oil injection... like night and day.,

The Yds2... could sure smoke.. but went good. The yds3 was smooth as an electric motor..and a real cushy marshmellow... these were tighter .

One of the best yds bikes I've heard on youtube. A fair bit need crank seals. Balance your carbs though.
