Although the Daybreaker 2 has not really spoke to me, I have to say that the Daily Plus is turning out to be an absolutely amazing EDC bag for me. It ticks all the boxes and is such a comfortable carry. In the 15L range, my Rip Ruck 15 is another amazing bag, it is the bag for me for day hikes to the reserve. Thanks for another great video JB!
I am in search of a good packable bag for our day trips overseas. The brief introduction to the daily plus has widen my choices and made it harder for me. I was so close to buying the daybreaker 2 but that daily plus also looks good
In my case, the Daybreaker 2 is just perfect. It works as a daypack+gym during the week and it's big enough for escapades on the weekend with my camera insert ;) And its really light! Half of the weight of the Daily.
Yeah, the real question is when do I have time to film and edit! I wish I could get more out there as I have quite the queue building. Glad you liked it! haha
I just got the Beast 18 and it has replaced my Mystery Ranch In & Out ( another great bag) as a packable backpack. This looks good but at 25L thats getting big for a daily bag and to be honest this Able Carry is not that packable. Of course it depends on what you are planing on carrying during the day. I use the Beast 18 as a packable daypack for when I travel around the cities etc and it folds up small and takes up little space. I also have a 15L bullet and as much as I love it I still prefer the Matador Beast 18 as a packable bag. Hope this helps. Cheers.
@@skipper4114 Thank you for the heads up. Certainly answered my worries about 25 litres being too large for a packable daypack. Guess the daybreaker 2 primary appeal is its versatility to be a potential edc bag as well (with a laptop sleeve) of course
Agree with Skipper. This Beast is a lot more packable so if a travel bag is your goal I’d check that one out. The Daybreaker kinda does both and tries to bridge the gap between sorta packable but more of a general grab and go option

Nice! Agree on that Daily Plus…such a great one. Thanks for watching 🙏🏻

If you want packable checkout Matador. Several good ones. This Daybreaker is also a good choice.

Nice!
Do you feel that the Able Carry Daily actually gets the full 20L of volume?
Yes? I honestly didn't notice a big difference with the Daily
@@JBOutside1 ty. Appreciate the answer!
How do you have time to fly? The Bullet is still my EDC and packable (think packing cube) choice. Thanks for the outtake.

this is my boxing/mma gym bag
vertical space super useful
Very cool!
Would love to know which would you prefer over Beast 18 vs Able Daybreaker 2
