Paint the new Brood Brothers for Kill Team: Termination!

I used my traditional Cadian scheme to add a dark twist to this Brood Brother from the new Kill Team: Termination set sent to me by @officialwarhammer to make content for you guys! This guy is more subtle than some of the other models in the Genestealer Cultist team, but the purple shade applies to his skin means gives a hint of what's happened to this Cadian. Great job Andy. it still amazes me how far we have come in terms of the quality of minis and I think I fell it most keenly with genestealer cults because there was such a long time they didn’t make them, so in my head is the quality back when WD built the limo 🤦♂ and now they make a guy that looks like this, so it really shows as a stark difference.

I'm so excited brood brothers are getting revisited. Like yourself, I planned a GSC army around brood brothers, but it isn't particularly supported at the moment... So I deferred to making a "guard" army that has a suspiciously purple skin tone across many of its members...
It's nothing to worry about, I'm sure it's just a lack of vitamin d 😂

I think it is funny that genestealer cult heads look like Klingons almost... like the ones from the first season of star trek discovery (they had weird bald heads and more refined head plates)... you did an awesome paint scheme, if it was me I would have probably added some of the magos purple and mixed it into the highlight colours (ie kislev flesh and such) just to bring more purple hue into the skin...looking forward to your next video of course, and the one you do of the terrain, maybe you can then show off both killteams, instead of just the one model of each?
If I can get them all done in free time I’ll show them off asap, have other projects to work on at night so not sure how long both teams will take. I think the purple shows up a little more in certain lights than on camera but totally get what you mean! And yes they do look like Klingons 😂

I really like the new upcoming genestealers, both the ones from kill team and from Necromunda. It's a design that has really been missing from the genestealer line and something I've personally been looking for for a while. Now I just have to wait an eternity for them to be released in their own boxes (and be in stock for more than one minute).
But I think that I've finally settled on genestealers being my opposing force for my Blood Raves army with their Imperial Guard detachements :)
