Lexi has been through a lot. She needs a break but hopefully we will see a lot more of her. I just wish great athletes like Lexi understood the flow of ideas around a sport is entertaining for us but should be meaningless to them. Sports fans by nature criticize. But it means nothing.
Lexi I have really enjoyed watching you play the game. You are truly one of the best and I hope what ever you do I know will do your very best. You should aways hold your head high there are a lot of young ladies who want to follow in your foot steps. Best off luck to you in the future.
Outstanding career Lexi, i'm sure your family is very proud of you and you should be as well!! You are right, people don't have any idea how hard this lifestyle can be and you all deserve to have a life outside the sport! I'm sure you will succeed at whatever you choose to do with the rest of your life because you put in the work😊.........now go enjoy life after ⛳
She’s not retiring ! She said she stepping away from a full time schedule. She’s frustrated because of her poor play. Hopefully she can get her putter going & make the solheim cup.
Raising a family is much better than playing golf all day everyday, hopefully Miss Lexi will find a really good man that will live her and they produce beautiful children and life together, and maybe come back in twenty years.
Agree. She has as much talent as Nelly IMO and should have won more. If she can play 6 tournaments a year I am sure she will still contend. Life is too short to grind….solid career and she deserves to be happy
sounds like its a combination of 2 things:Job Burn out and fat fat, bank account..Solution: She could just cut her schedule down to just 10 tournaments per year INSTEAD of walking away cold turkey for good.. If she walks away cold turkey, she will miss PRO Golf badly by year 2..guarenteed..Life without Pro golf tournaments to look forward to playing is actually pretty damn boring to be truthful. Stick to 10 tourneys a year and you will find yourself with lots of free time on your hands
Move over Lexi. Make room for the next overhyped, coddled, pampered, entitled young robot to be forced upon us as the next, can't miss, superstar that ends up failing miserably and which can't seem to get out of their own way.
I’ve often what kind of loser you have to be to see a professional athlete in a situation like this and from your couch of non production, make a comment like this. She has reached the pinnacle of her chosen profession and been an example to young aspiring athletes. And that’s the best you can come up with?
Proud of you Lexi! Best of luck in your new ventures.
Lover her true emotion. She has been through a lot and it's a tough life on the road for these athletes.
Remarkable young women ! Nice to know she will play some more events. Even through the tough times she carried that smile with her!

Considering how young she started it makes sense that she wants to experience something outside of golf looks like for a bit
Impressive to have 15 wins while struggling with putting yips throughout her career.

She'll be back after a year off she is still in her prime. It may be just false hope on my part.
Her golf has been fairly average for last few years, and was not improving, pretty Similar to Michelle wie promised alot but both fell way short...
Her parents ruined her.
Extremely bad decision. She’ll regret it terribly.

Womp womp. She won't be missed
Well that’s rude!🙄
