This was before the miraculous kick-6 against Alabama, in which Verne Lundquist called that, “An answered prayer”. The immaculate ricochet is what I would call that play to Ricardo Lewis
As an Auburn fan I’ve always felt that the two plays should be referred to as a tandem “The Prayers At Jordan-Hare”
I’m right there with you
Verne was clearly a Georgia fan too. Must have hurt so bad to watch
I watched this live with my brother and grandfather who is a bama fan we were all on edge the whole 4th quarter when we all witnessed one of the greatest plays we'd ever seen live. Until the next weekend 😂
I appreciate the occasional upload of College Football classics from NFL Throwback, thank you guys ❤
This was almost the Choke at Jordan-Hare with how Auburn blew a 37-17 lead before the famous 4th & 18 play.
Malzahn special. Shouldn’t have ever been this close but Malzahn gave up leads like no other….it was uncanny. What a lucky coach. Glad he’s no longer at AU. The shift from Tubs to Chiz to Malzahn had a major impact on the SEC
Never realized how close this was to a historic comeback for Georgia
Same Im a huge collage football fan Im suprised I never knew about the almost collapse by Auburn
But then vintage Georgia football happened. As a wise man once said:
*Did I ever tell you the definition… of insanity?*
@@sportballotaku2139 lol This is so true
This season was insane for Auburn lol
15:44 the Hail Mary
2013 was a great year for College Football
Amen saw the post game at my dad's when he was alive good memories
I remember watching this game and the KICK SIX such a wild SZN for Auburn.
NFL Throwback really posting at 2 AM
were it not for the final play, this would’ve been remembered as an all time choke by auburn
Your right but 2013 was just special and Greg Robinson was like Orlando pace
I remember watching this with my dad. Neither of us had a rooting interest in either team. Both of us were so stunned by the touchdown catch that neither of us said anything until after the game was over. Good times
Greg Robinson was soooo dominant that year and even though was a bust in the NFL was just a mauler in the run game
I miss Uncle Verne calling SEC games.
Not the same lmao
Love seeing NFL throwback posting college football stuff.
It’s some of the best football content you can find
15:43 tough way to lose.... I bet this play still hunts the Georgia DB's 😩
15:43
Dee Ford offside on a game-deciding play. Huh.
Just like AFC championship vs Brady
Had it not been for the Kick 6, this would have hands down been the best game of the regular season, just looking at the drama that happened on both sides of the ball.
Auburn vs Georgia is most underrated rivalry when good the fanbases hate each other like Michigan and Ohio st
why did georiga try to catch it at all?
cause they wanted to lose
Nick marshall was like pat white at West Virginia....
Always remember “the guy in blue beat the guy in white” 😂😂
What a game, I didn't catch this one.
Deep south's oldest rivalry
I remember watching this in Wal mart with my friend. Georgia should’ve won this game. 😅
Should’ve could’ve 😂,I still don’t believe Murray was in the end zone before his knee touched on that fourth and goal but auburn should’ve not let Georgia even had a chance to comeback they easily could’ve won that game
Freeze will bring rivalry back !
Man auburn chocked today
It sucks tht Nick Marshall never got a chance to prove himself as an NFL quarterback as a matter of fact I think he went to the NFL and changed his position to DB but in my opinion, he would’ve been a damn good quarterback in the NFL he has good arm talent and obviously he can run has enough intangibles and smarts he definitely would’ve had to get in the weight room tho
This one hurt so much at the time, still does now not as much tho
Seeing the Georgia coaches fall to their knees in despair is forever etched in my memory 😂
Biggest comeback from every nfl team?
Y'all posted this to the wrong channel
