To keep the paper from curling up, flip the mat over and peel the mat away from the paper. It makes it a lot easier.

Love the video, especially when you showed your mishaps, because no matter how hard we try, we will, unfortunately have those days when crap happens. I love how you show us what you may have did wrong too and not only you but we as well can learn from it. Keep doing what you do. Love how the other two came out. See, all was not lost, Lol. I can TOTALLY see this happening as I am looking at the laser paper and there are two sets of instructions on the Heat Transfer warehouse site for the same product . One says mirror the image and right under it it says do not...thank you for this video.
I know it was a year ago.. But may I say
You don't have to apologize ever for going out and doing things for yourself and your family.
I appreciate all you do for us... You don't have to stress it...
I think we all understand how hard it is to make time... You are a treasure.
PS thank you for explaining what that paper means...
I am trying the dtf transfers from Tko and Ninja but I want to try the laser print paper to see how it lasts

A few tips: unfortunately we are limited on the sizes for print then cut. There was an update on where now you can move the images around. You could have split the name and attach it so that it will stay in order. Cut it and place the two pieces next to each other to the best of your ability and then place the transfer tape. When you remove the transfer tape, the name will be in order and together. I hope I made sense lmao. Also the first shirt I was screaming at the tv saying the N was upside down lol. Not sure what happened that the shirt didn’t work out. That really sucks.

Awesome job doing the best you could do with the cricut. Please know you could just attach 3 letters together to keep in order and then when you go to print if they show on 2 different mats you can move one to the other by clicking on the 3 dots upper left corner. .Also you could use the dark tranfer on the light. Most prefer to , I know I like it better as well. I would use the dark on light and dark material, colors look better.

I have been buying items I need a little at a time and this upload was a win for me. I have been spent so much on inkjet transfer paper I am going broke lol!! $10.00 for 10 sheets light and $10.00 for 5 sheets Dark. You should use a heat transfer mask. It makes it easy to transfer when your transfer does not come with its own transfer paper. I believe you used regular transfer paper on the white t shirt. I would peel warm and not cold. Also, I turn the bleed on when I am doing print and cut so none of the white shows around my letters. Just a few suggestions. Thanks for showing your mistakes because too many people do not do that!

The whole design ended up flipped upside. His name just has letters that can be “rotated” to look correct (except the “N”) which looked wrong before pressing. Did you find out where you went wrong? Trying to avoid all mistakes lol. I’m thinking it was the mirroring but want to confirm.

The light transfer I use does not have polymer as yours does. It basically has a glue that you print on and if you put it through the cutter it must cut through the backing paper other wise the glue leaves a layer on the garment. so there is no need for transfer pages to keep your design together.

Checking out wala's pigment ink. Do you know if yellow is heat transfer safe? or will it discolor? Cobraink is dead, someone mentioned that cobra is now wala. I wonder if they use the same formula, or if I'll have to buy a new CISS and flush the heads? Lastly, do you know if they have a 4 bottle pigment ink kit? Their site only has 6 color, otherwise, I'd have to buy each bottle separate (4 separate cmyk bottles resulting in the same price as 6-bottle bundle, including light magenta and light cyan, which I don't need).

also wow, thermal mask tape actually working on transfer sheets? i haven't seen that work for a decade (3G Jet Opaque has become the bane of t-shirt printing) as for light transfers, they are very tricky... what 90% of people don't realize is, it's a sticker. after pressing, you have to "fingernail" the corner of the sheet and peel it, only grabbing the paper. it should peel exactly like a sticker (the ease of peel), if you're getting that ripping sound as you peel up, go back... press it again, try to peel again.

Hi, Katrina. You don’t use transfer tapes on inkjet transfers. These inkjet transfers are equivalent to Avery transfers, Jolene, 3G Opague, etc. This is why you were having a difficult time. Take care!
