A quality guide to workers and nodes. Liked, subbed and shared on FB. Excellent job. Thanks for keeping your ego in check and not yelling at viewers like you are the coolest thing that ever hit Twitch or youtube. Mad respect for that !
Excellent guide. You went through it step by step and in a well explained way. Helps me a lot for sure as I am only just taking my first baby steps into the game.
Thanks! I had to stop playing BDO about 7 months ago :( I moved to another part of the world for a year for work - and the internet can't handle the game or uploads :(... I'll be back in a few more months tho.
Hi Adron, I just came across your videos today. Very great tutorials and guides. Really appreciate your time and effort for putting these videos out! :) Thank you and I've given you the Likes for those videos and subscribed! :) Also gave you a shoutout today at my Twitch. Hope to see you around man!
great great guide ! you could have show that the worker is actually in the game harvesting not just on the minimap (allways cool to see :D) but still a great guide
I can't explain how much this has helped me, thank you so much dude I have one question though; what do exploration nodes do and how can I set them up? I wanna buy a worker that someone is selling but it says that I need to set one up before I do so, but I don't know how
Wonderfully informative! Thank you so much! I only wish you covered a bit on the warehouse. You touched on storage a bit and houses, but not the warehouse.
+Dagnis8 I think that can be saved for a seperate video - although the warehouse is pretty simple. Works like a bank + you can transport items from one city to another for a small fee. If enough people like my style of tutorial/guides, then I'll be sure to make more during CBT2. Thanks for the support
+Adron So the NPC's will transfer your stuff from one city warehouse to another for a fee? No risk of getting PvP'd on the road and how long does it take? Thanks ~ Leftnut
No risk of losing your stuffs. Takes some time. I think the time varies by distance. But I was able to transfer from Veila to Heidel do a quest, come back and it was there
+Adron The time is takes, seems like double the amount of time it would take you, at a similar movement speed, to go the same distance. I transferred stuff from Velia to Glish (was doing trading) and decided to take some on my own wagon as well (same route). When I got down to Glish, the transport was about 50% of the way down there, which makes me think what I mentioned above. ..I could be wrong though - but that was just what I noticed a few times, when doing this.
Awesome guides helped a LOT . But i have 1 question like im playing only few days and i don't know which resources should i focus on gathering. I have no clue which ones do i need , could you help?
The LP system was frustrating, but the energy system in this game is intriguing. Mainly because there are repeatable quests which are easy, which all quests don't provide raw XP, but regenerates your energy. The only thing I seem to lack more or less is enough contribution points to do 'life' stuff.
OK cool long winded story bro but when my worker gathers resources where does it go? I cant seam to find it in any of the banks the node is linked to or on my or in my mailbox thingy...
I'm kinda late to this video and I hope you still get my comment. I'm wondering about the tiers of houses. Say the storage, it says at lvl 3 you get 8 slots, 5 slots at lvl 2, and lvl 1 gives 3 slots. Does this compound into 16 slots in total? Or does it simply mean at lvl 3 you only get 8 extra slots?
No. They don't compound. The level 1 is always less storage than the level 3, so if in your example or the one at 6:05 - the level three gives only 8 slots when it reaches level 3, only 5 at lvl 2 and only 3 at lvl 1. Hope that helps!
I think there's a mistake in your explanation, I'm pretty sure the workers don't work if you're not online (or logged in but AFK, not sure on that). Kept an eye on my workers and at 1st i figured they're more 'motivated' if im online so they gather more then, quickly realized they don't work at all if i'm not in game :(. Now working on replacing 10 blue giants in 3 towns ... you can imagine the energy investment. Also, guys, unless you get a gold worker like Adron, get blue goblins, any other type of worker is worthless unless you plan to play 20hrs straight per day :P. Good video and cheers.
+ZenoPixel They work as long as you are logged in. if you log off the finish the current iteration and don't go back out (ie. working 10 of 17, they will finish 10 but won't go on to the 11th run.)
I saw on a site that when you're offline your worker will only continue his current task and then will not complete any tasks queued after it. Is this true? I'll be sad if it is :/
is this necessary at all I love the combat and the graphicsa nd killing stuff but I give 0 shits about crafting gathering worker npcs trade management or nodes ... i Havent conencted a single one and im level 32 does it make any difference at all
If you're really not keen on any of the crafting or worker related stuff, you can always just kill stuff for money and then buy whatever you need from the marketplace. Other players more interested in crafting over killing stuff will be happy to buy drops from you, and you can use that cash to buy their goods.
thanks my primary concern is a lot of people make it sound like the gathering/node stuff is how to make massive amounts of money and farming wont yield the same results. I cant wait until next week im so pumped for this game. I was going to be a witch but think I like tamer the most after trying all the classes.
A few guides I've watched have said that in terms of raw income, killing stuff is your best bet, so I don't think you'll have any troubles if combat is your primary focus :)
+riverdogpsl Yes and no - They will complete their current work cycle and then wait for you to log back in to continue. i.e: They are doing it 10 times, they finish cycle 1 and stop, when you log back in they will do the next 9 cycles.
Why would you go to a player for upgraded parts when you can't trade those parts. More like they will end up being sold on the marketplace or you will craft them yourselves. Oh wait... looks like you did this in CBD1... you must have been able to trade things at that point
『I A M T H E F U C K I N G S T R O N G 』 Its not that bad..I think he plays these settings usually.. I just think it only does lag because he is recording.
Well thanks for covering all the basics and common sense stuff...But you failed to explain what leveling up nodes does. Node starts off at Level 1... etc... It's fucking unbelievable how many people have videos on this yet they don't even fucking know the system themselves lol...
A quality guide to workers and nodes. Liked, subbed and shared on FB. Excellent job. Thanks for keeping your ego in check and not yelling at viewers like you are the coolest thing that ever hit Twitch or youtube. Mad respect for that !
Thank you I have been trying to figure out how to get workers to forage for hours. This is the first video that made sense.
Excellent guide to the principles, helped me tremendously. The game is so unhelpful in explaining what investment does and how to assign workers.
Excellent guide. You went through it step by step and in a well explained way. Helps me a lot for sure as I am only just taking my first baby steps into the game.
That vid made it a whole lot easier for me!! I was starting to get overwhelmed with the amount of info in this game
Excellent coverage, Adron. I appreciate videos like this, covering the essential aspects of the new systems. Kepe em coming!
Nice video! Did a great job of keeping it entertaining and informative, you have a good voice for this stuff.
Best guide about the subject yet.
Thanks!
Wow best guide yet for node/housing/workers. Watched 4 different videos about that and this is the best
Thanks! I had to stop playing BDO about 7 months ago :( I moved to another part of the world for a year for work - and the internet can't handle the game or uploads :(... I'll be back in a few more months tho.
And feel free to watch my other videos too :)
Really nice and informative video.
Also the Calpheon work supervisors name always cracks me up, Lilvayne lol.
Really good video! well made and to the point.
Subbed/Shared and liked, huge thx for this video @Adron
Great video, just joined FOE today, I look forward to watching your other ones.
What a phenomenal voice, very clear and descriptive without fucking around. I appreciate that in a youtube channel. subbed. 500th sub via me.
Really great job at this tutorial video. Wish I would have known this before I started
Awesome guide, very well done. Subscribed and looking forward to more content in cbt2.
Awesome, informative guide. Thank you!
Appears to be the AFK game of the year.

Keep up the great work man, these videos are fantastic
Thx for all the information, this is very helpful.
thank you very much for the guide , very detailed
great great guide !

Thank you for this creation!
This is what I needed.
Do you plan on making any other BDO videos? This was ridiculously useful
very nicely explained mate. Ty and subbed!
Great guide. Thank you!
Awesome guides helped a LOT . But i have 1 question like im playing only few days and i don't know which resources should i focus on gathering. I have no clue which ones do i need , could you help?
+San Tox Gather anything to level up gathering at first. Once you have workers, you want to stockpile grains or potatos for beer initially.
+Adron Thanks, will look forward to do it
Do nodes affect what abilities your workers get? also great video! thanks!
The LP system was frustrating, but the energy system in this game is intriguing.
Mainly because there are repeatable quests which are easy, which all quests don't provide raw XP, but regenerates your energy. The only thing I seem to lack more or less is enough contribution points to do 'life' stuff.
Awesome video! You made it understandable! : D
thank you for the guide it was very helpful
tyvm, clear and precise
Can you make a guide about crafting?
+Inneryoyo Wanted to, but by the time I felt comfortable enough to make this, CBT1 was coming to a close. I'll be sure to touch on crafting in CBT2.
+Adron I was the same way. I started, and then found out that my capture was set to potao ;s
well done!
Keep up the vids they are informative thanks
Nice vid man! Keep it up
Great video thank you !!!

Yes it helps thanks! Wasn't expecting such a quick reply on such a dated video!
I'm still active, just have not started doing videos/streaming again since I returned home. I'm no longer playing BDO tho. :(
I just started as it was really cheap on steam a few days ago due to sale. I thank you for your help though
I think there's a mistake in your explanation, I'm pretty sure the workers don't work if you're not online (or logged in but AFK, not sure on that). READ IF YOU DON'T UNDERSTAND HOW TO COLLECT THE RESOURCES
go to the warehouse in city the worker has been hired from. profit?
Maximum number of times for a worker only works if you keep the game open and running.
I want to invest energy in the mansha forest for the witches earring but im not shure in witch nod to invest help ls.
Please tell me all this is account wide so I don't need to do this on every single character?
When can you promote people?
Nice work. Now, I dare you to do a video on Hidden nodes... Mwhaha!
Btw Guild wars on Nodes is a weekly event, not daily.
If you buy the house do you get access to all the things in that house without using contribution? like residents lodging and warehouse.
+Snooze00 you only pick one thing in the list and that is what you get lodging or resident, etc.. you can change it though at any time.
Sweet cheers
So the materials my workers gather are just automatically stored in the storehouse at the city my workers live in?
+liang dar Yes. So if you connect Calpheon to Trent and have a calpheon worker work a node close to trent, he will store goods in Calpheon.
Adron Alright - thank you.
I saw on a site that when you're offline your worker will only continue his current task and then will not complete any tasks queued after it. Is this true? I'll be sad if it is :/
+LightStylez They only work while your online.
thanks! realy helpfull
I am stuck on the part "i have already invested in a "x" farm", what does that mean? do i just pick a farm or what?
+mgamer327 did you invest in the sub node to gather from? nodes that workers can harvest have subnodes that require investment too.
ohh ty i got it now THX!
can i transfer my workers to another village?
no
How do you obtain pets in the first place? marketplace?
+Fivos Vas I obtained one from a quest, and the rest I got in the mail? I think they are typically a store purchase in Korea
is this up to date?
PC Specs?
I love how the game spends 30 minutes teaching you how to walk and ignores all of the node system.
i love how it takes 30 minutes to learn anything abort this game :P
you made a video and you didnt even mention how to activate the first node in Velia??????
laughed out so loud when you said they are german workers cause you have to get them beer :DDD
is this necessary at all I love the combat and the graphicsa nd killing stuff but I give 0 shits about crafting gathering worker npcs trade management or nodes ... i Havent conencted a single one and im level 32 does it make any difference at all

Will your worker keep working when off line?
+riverdogpsl Yes and no - They will complete their current work cycle and then wait for you to log back in to continue. i.e: They are doing it 10 times, they finish cycle 1 and stop, when you log back in they will do the next 9 cycles.
Ok do you have to restart them or is it automatic
it is automatic
+Adron thanks
Nope - I have not logged out in months except for maintenance
How big is the map. ??
This big ( )
+ SNIDGE M playing it right now hahah it's really big hahah
coulda sworn your comment said one day ago not 1 month
or one week or whatvever
hahaha thats all good mate. you level 50 yet?
moar!! nice video
mic volume really low for me
Put the speed on x2...... it almost isnt fast haha bro please speed it up, great video tho i liked already
Why would you go to a player for upgraded parts when you can't trade those parts. More like they will end up being sold on the marketplace or you will craft them yourselves. Oh wait... looks like you did this in CBD1... you must have been able to trade things at that point
12:23 -- drinking beer is not less german :D
subbed
When he says node it sounds like he's asking for noods
the worker supervisors name is lilvayne lmao
+The Worldcreator
Saw a node manager called Lionel Ritchie or something really close to it.
This game is straight up Slavery Simulator.
i must get a house to my worker collect potato?
"He's Canadian"
lol
not true about workers traveling, they are triveling is tright line, not point to point.
is it me or do you lag way too much xD
it's not just you, tbh I think he cranked his settings all the way up for the video even though he probably doesn't normally have it that high.
『I A M T H E F U C K I N G S T R O N G 』 Its not that bad..I think he plays these settings usually.. I just think it only does lag because he is recording.
Well thanks for covering all the basics and common sense stuff...But you failed to explain what leveling up nodes does. Node starts off at Level 1... etc...

GET TO THE FCKING POINT OMG!!!!!!!!!
I really had hopes for this, but this guide and every other guy is just 20 minutes of rambling and not helpfully training each idea...
very poor visual quality.
I totally disagree with this video... they could be Irish workers.. haha.
get to the point, jeez
Good guide! Thanks!
