Mazdas are genuinely amazing cars. They have the luxerious feeling of a BMW or a Mercedes while still being cheaper than most of its competitors. Its Maintenance and repairing are also very affordable. Mazdas are also Japanese cars, so you're not getting any lower quality than any of its competitors. My family owns a Mazda CX5 and we really love it. Definitely recommend buying a Mazda.
This may be an unpopular opinion, but I just don't see the point in buying a car like a base model BMW 3 Series or C Class when you can get a car like this. This car is similar in quality to those cars, but it has less gimmicky electronics that could break and cost you thousands of dollars to repair. Running costs in the Mazda are also probably way lower than in a BMW or Mercedes.

I have a 2016 Mazda 6 Touring (the mid-spec model) and I love it. It's been bulletproof for 102k miles and four years of long commutes. It's not a sports sedan by any means with only 184 hp but the handling is so balanced and the feel is so good that I don't care. It just eats miles and comes back for more. And even the pre-refresh 2016 mid-spec interior with the "leatherette" seats is great. My only wish is that Mazda would do a true Mazdaspeed/MPS version of this 6. It's such an amazing platform that it just begs for a balls-out sports sedan like the Mazdaspeed 6 from 15 years ago.
+1 for my 16 Mazda 6 with 101K. It's a manual sport trim with upgraded 19in konig oversteers on 235/40 tires and Tanabe exhaust. It's a fun touring car. Power really isn't everything. I'm the sole owner of the car and only thing it's needed has been routine maintenance. Definitely waiting for the 6 cylinder Awd mazda 6
This car nails the argument that badges are not everything. Purchased mine a month ago with the same exterior/interior color combination over an A4 and have received more compliments than I can count. 0-60 times be damned, The 310 lb-ft from the 2.5T continues to put a smile on my face. A playful race with a 2.0T C-class will certainly show you this car is a sleeper and will hold it's own against those wannabe V6 muscle cars. The interior materials punch above it's class appointed with real aluminum, Sen wood and Nappa leather. I couldn't get the features my 6 has in the German world without spending almost double the price tag. I'm not saying this car is pure luxury, but at this price point you can't beat it. Besides, a vehicle is one of the worst investments you can make. Stop posing, Save yourself some cash and look into this class of car.
@@DMCarReviews Coming out of a German car I 100% agree. But at $35K it was way more appealing than paying another $15-20K for equivalent (But superior) features. I Haven't become successful at 20 without comprises and unnecessarily blowing cash. The 2.5T holds it's own. I've beaten a 2018 2.0T C-Class easily , kept pace with a Nissan 370Z, and neck and neck with a Focus ST. And this is not a car that's meant to be drag raced.

@@husseingh2041 I'm loving the car. It stands out in the crowd full of other popular sedans. The Mazda6 is not apples to apples when compared to a 5 series. As for your question i always tell people to lean against base model vehicles as they're essentially stripped of all the luxurious features you are going to wish you had. I'd recommend stepping into a lower class like a 3 series and get a higher trim. Huge warning the bmw will depreciate ridiculously fast. I'd recommend buying slightly used or just leasing the vehicle. The Mazda 6 is nice but it's still a slight compromise compared to a full on luxury car. It is better investment as it is more affordable, will depreciate slower, require a lot less maintenance and will be cheaper to fix.
@@ayoonasanya3957 I think the audio in camera mics tends to be exaggerated as well. I've driven this car with 19" wheels and it drives smoother than the one with 17" wheels lol. I'm 100% sure Mazda tuned to suspension for the 19" wheels since they are the option in every trim other than the base.
If the rumors will turn out to be true and Mazda will make Inline 6 RWD with a manual. I'm switching from VOLVO to Mazda. Hands down an amazing car, these are the only three things I'm missing.

Design is beautiful but design will not tell you that this car has useless brake system. I own Mazda 6 2014 and I change brake discs and pads every 8 - 9 months, then you have vibrations. Currently it's my 13th or 14th set of discs with pads since 2014, it doesn't matter how you drive - fast or slow - these discs are too slim for such weight of car. Also there were problems with drive axle (also causing vibrations) and the dealer rejected to fix it (change) by warranty. Also there are another problems with my car: gearbox oil leakage from the seal and engine oil leakage from the oil pressure sensor. If you check Mazda forums you will find people have absolutely same problems as me. Watched this video and noticed there is still no gas lift under the hood. Really, is this normal to place stick in the hood in 2020? But everything I mentioned is still passable comparing to the service Mazda dealers provide. This is the worst service I ever experienced.

Don't like the power delivery in this car. Feels like the stated 227 horsepower but dont feel the supposed 310 torque... feels like a lot less. It's almost like a diesel in the power delivery. no passing power or top end. i decided to get the 2.5 manual mazda 3, is faster for sure lol
A D You are correct. Mazda stated that the torque delivery being all at the lower RPMs was intentional, for sake of improving day-to-day driving as opposed to being a performance car you can rev out. It sucks for us enthusiasts, but it wasn’t an oversight by Mazda.
@@theconformist2399 EXACTLY what I love about the torque curve in this car, can't drive fast any way because of the speed cameras and the heavy traffic and I am not the hot headed type of guy, it has enough torque to make me stick to my seat when launching at traffic lights and when wants to pass at city level speeds since the torque is there from very low RPM, I think it's the perfect car for my driving style, oh and that BOSS sound system.
Isnt that a Grand Touring Reserve? I though the Signature has the clothy suede strip on the dash and door panels and I thought it didnt come in white leather

It's a 2020 medium range option. It doesn't have a turbo engine.

Good car but don’t get the base model, a lot of creaking sounds from the interior can be heard while driving.

fuel economy is poor for what it is. my car makes more power and has the same economy, and its 14 years older.
theconformist it is ironic considering Mazda used to make rotary engines that needs to be revved high all the time to squeeze all the torque.
