We have lived full-time in Airbnb's for about 4 years. We are very careful to do all the things that you have recommended, but we have still missed some important things. We always try to only stay in apartments with Superhosts, and definitely read all past reviews. Once we have chosen a place, we then message the host and ask for a discount...which usually works. Most of the time, we are looking to stay for at least three months, so that helps when it's time to bargain for a lower price. Great information!

@@TakeTimeToTravel that's a great idea about asking the host for a discount. We're going to try that!

Great video! Very accurate information. One note to add regarding Airbnb: Be careful not to cancel too much because that shows on your profile and doesn't look good if you cancel a lot of accommodations.

Hello guys… We are going to Thailand for the first time in June 2025… We are super excited and we are Canadian and we have 60 days tourist 18:23 visa when we enter Bangkok… We want to stay perhaps 7-10 days in Bangkok and then go to Hua Hin (saw your TH-cam video) to finish our 60 days in Thailand… Would you guys be willing to chat privately as I don’t want to make any mistakes on our first trip to Thailand and I believe you have lots of experience in SE Asia… We want to spend some time in Laos, Indonesia, Malaysia, Vietnam and perhaps South Korea. (We want to have a trip that will last 4-6 months total)
Pls let me know if you can chat with me at your convenience, thank you and great videos guys!!! I truly ajeitaste your videos and views… 👍😃

People who are completely satisfied don't write a review. Some fussy nut job who is not satisfied with the tiny thing write like everything is wrong with the property

That's right, normally if you have a good experience, you typically don't write a review.
