I can’t say it will replace it because pro has different functions but it’s close but then again each person will always have their preferences. I’ll use both depending on what sound im going for

Yo Sky, I dont record with Autotune, I usually add autotune to its own track then route it into my vocal chain. Am I losing any effect of my autotune by not recording with Autotune?
Autotune is supposed to be on there first cuz it’s a plugin for your voice only to make you stay in key. Recording with it live makes sure you’re performing correctly and if it’s out of key with your singing you’ll know. Every industry artist I’ve ever recorded ,tracked with Autotune and Autotune was always the first plugin on each track with their vocals. That’s the only reason why Antares made it Autotune in the first place so you can use it live to save time so you don’t have to manually move notes around etc..
