The new Hubens come with pellet barrels that's why they don't group with slugs the old ones came with slug barrel

The long range tests show that it is not accurate, and as Nate says, its a 50 yard gun. EDIT probably needs the power dialing back for more accuracy.

Also received the AEA Element Ultra from Terry 2.8 lbs and folding stock and extra air tube has built in regulator.
Light trigger out of the box 15.89 Hades at 997fps. FX hybrid 22 grainers @ 868fps and accurate... Unbelievably amazing... Happy Days 😊 😃

You can hear the difference in sound on the shots that where supersonic and the ones that are subsonic
for sure. Iy's called a Sonic Boom (crack when it breaks the sound barrier). It will also destroy your accuracy wehn it hits the speed of sound.

Well done Nate and a nice review, you may well find that if you dial the power back in small increments the groups at longer ranges tighten up, if not its either the wrong ammo or thats the guns capability. and don't drop it anymore !

Also try a wider slug, hunt down some 5.55s or 5.56s
I got the gen 5 and I love it. I also got huben's swaging die to make my own slugs with .185 caliber lead wire. They're about 37 grains have a driving band that makes a barrel seal with minimal friction. They group well. Krazycool airguns sells a new end cap for them that has a male quick disconnect so you can ditch the probe and have an air gauge for the main tank. I think the ergonomics are better than the lcs sk19 and it's more powerful. I clocked a freak 35 grain going 1094 fps once. That's over 90 foot pounds

@@AirgunChannel are you going to have the gun for a while? I might be persuaded to part with some of my slugs for you to try but I would find out if they're ok for your version because my understanding is that they are actually .223 diameter when accounting for the driving band. Normal pellets like the 14 grain crossman ones from the store are way too loose in the magazine and when it cycles the skirts jam, even if I pushed them all the way in. This can cause problems with the gun and might be why I had to send it back for repair once so I only shoot the slugs I make or the JSB beasts and I'm all out of beasts with no plans to buy more
@@AirgunChannel oh and I was wrong its airguns 4 Patriots that makes and sells the air tube ends that have a gauge and a male quick disconnect. I hate fill probes, just 3 more o- rings that can go bad
I would like to see this gun go up against my SK-19 in .22. By the looks of things my SKs 12 grove LW barrel may out shoot the Huben. “6” clicks from minimum power setting it shoots 15.89s at 920 FPS and 100 shots per 250 Bar fill. and at “30” clicks from minimum power setting, out of a total of “150” at maximum power, it is sending JSB Redesigned 25.39s down range at 1064 FPS for about 60 shots per fill. My regulator is set at 140 Bar. I hope you can keep it for a while. Truly an amazing gun bud. I hope this hammerless technology spreads throughout the airgun industry quickly. Thanks for the comment and great info. Huben is suing LCS right now because they copied the design for the SK19. That's why they are similar. I will hopefully get my hands on and SK19 soon. AOA sells them so they no longer sell the Huben. Thanks again for the comment!

Strange... after watching Your (well done, as usual !) video, I was eager to get one from Krale Shop. Just to learn that they discontinued their production, cancelling the whole Huben K1 program, since it happened to show they had many issues with this model... They proposed me the LCS Air Arms SK-19 at the place, much more reliable as they say (and more expensive too...)
They are lying to you. There was no problem with the Huben. LCS stole the design for the SK-19 from Huben and now are being sued by Huben. All the dealers have to make a choice between selling the SK19 or the Huben. You are not able to sell both. Just like Airguns of Arizona, Krale went with the sk19. It's too bad they think they have to trash the Huben to sell SK19s. That is not necessary. And the huben K1, if there were any problems with it I would have heard about it on the forums and all I have ever heard is everybody loves them. So I doubt there was any problems. I do think they should have been more accurate with slugs though so I probably would get an sk19 too. The Hatsan Blitz 22 is better than both for only $1000 if you just want full auto and 35-50 yard shooting.

You can get long range accuracy better than that with slugs. Just have to use larger diameter and heavier. I shoot .2225 diameter slugs that weigh 40.8 grains, and they completely fill the magazine slots. I make them myself.

Hello! I have a 2020 version of 6.35 caliber that has 2 manometers. A repairman strongly recommends that I will empty regulator air (not the main tank) after each use so that the o-rings do not deteriorate over time. Are you sure?! Thanks
What distance do you prefer your zero stop for the Huben K1 .22 for distance shooting but being accurate at shorter distances as well ?
Plain and simple you have to push .218 Griffin 34g boat tails out this gun.... They love them.... Love love love them.... They are easily printing 5 shot 100y sub .75 minute.
And hitting 2.5 moa plates at 300y was child's play... We have shot upwards of 40 different slugs in them and the Griffin's 34g BTs are the slug.... The barrels eat them up... You won't be rapid firing lol because they are costly but when you can put lead reliably on a 2.5 minute plate at 300y (7.6 inch plate) and know that when you squeeze one off on P-dogs or what we shoot a lot of Iguanas that the gun and projectile is capable of putting it where you tell it and even at 20ftlbs on target your gonna put all that energy in to that pest very very quickly and on closer shots the chances of pass thrus are slim.

What is the best weight for slugs to be reasonably accurate with the new 2021 version? 30 or 32 grain or heavier, 36, 38 or 40grain? Intended for distances of 100-110 yard.

The barrel of that Huben is made for Pellets, They are not for Slugs, You may try the Gen 2 to 5 for shootings Slugs.

For the price it’s kinda a rip that it doesn’t come with a built in gauge to tell you the tank pressure. The pellet accuracy at 35/50 was good but once you used the slugs the accuracy seemed to fall off a cliff, not very impressive especially since they market it as a slug shooter. However, like always very entertaining video.

great video nate...i was really hot to get this gun but then after reading the comments and all that is going on with this gun, its materials and design, whats slug and what versions designed for pellets is such a mess i'm just going with an M3. the good old boys did some videos shooting ballons out at 300-500 yds with the Hueben and an M3. i also saw videos of one hole 100 yd groups. those vids got me high on the Huben, then your video where is shoots slugs for shit, other videos where they are shooting over 1" plus at 100 yds and now i question the other videos and i doubt the Huben now. at least with an M3 its a tried on true one jagged hole 100 yd gun. i'm bummed as i loved the hammerless design and the ability to double tap with this gun.
M3 is good. I will be doing 10 M3 videos soon..all calibers. M3 will hold it's value too.

In a firearm you cannot change ammo and expect same POI. In this air gun how does it affect POI? Does the pellet just strike lower on the target because it is not going as fast or will it be high right or low left etc? How many shots might you get in 25 caliber at the high end of power? I looked on line at the Huben site which is not very informative.
Any pellet will hit at a different spot. You can use the power wheel to adjust to the perfect speed for accuracy with each pellet. You will have to re-center your scope each time you change ammo.
@@AirgunChannel Thank you. So the ability to change power settings is not worth much or would not be to me. If I was blasting out in the wilds I could not then "dial down" the power and still expect to hit if I was in my backyard.

Two VERY different guns... Two very different expectations of capabilities...
They are nice guns but there will it do what a Impact that's really dialed will do at 100, 200, 300? No... My .22 Impact MKII is pushing 27.5g slugs at 1070/70ftlbs... Will print 10 shot groups at 100y that are moa or better at the 100y Indoor range all day long with most groups being .75 minute -ish. I can dial it in to a projectile to exactly what I want it to do... Im running two 580cc carbon bottles and at 70ftlbs on a 3650psi fill my shot string is well over 128 shots with a SD of 2fps and an ES of 11fps (over 128 shots keep in mind) ...
Slap a pellet liner in it make a few adjustmets and pushing JSB 25.39S at 46ftlbs and will group 10 well under a half inch at 50 and an inch at a 100 cost next to nothing to shoot... It's just two very different guns.. I love my Huban and it's super fun... Highly accurate and highly adjustable. Will it win any bench rest comps? No... Is it super refined? No... Is it a shit ton of power in a semi auto design that preforms well and puts slugs on target at long range pretty well? Yes.. Two very different pcp guns with two very different intended usages and clients. Another thing to keep in mind is the extremely high fill pressure to have a decent shots per fill... Biggggggg difference between 5k.... Just say 4500psi fill gun and a 3600psi fill gun... A fresh charged 4500psi bottle can't fill it to its working pressure... Given the shot string is very usable on a 4500psi fill.

My Kuben K1 rifle started leaking air after reloading the magazine 6 times. After searching the internet, I see that too many people got air leak issues and have to replace few of the rubber O rings. I have tried to find where to purchase the rubber O ring repair kits, but have not been able to locate any. Please, HELP if you have a clue who sales them. Thanks

Have you ever reviewed an Impact? I really want to love the huben but can't get past the things i've seen done with the impact.
The Impact is good but they don't all shoot like that out of the box. The guys who win with Impacts spend hours tuning them. You should get a RAW Chassis gun in .22. I don't know. 10 maybe, If you click too far it will not increase FPS...only waste air.

What is the FPE at 100 yards? A 22lr is 91 FPE at 100 yrs. Just curious.
Good question! I never measured that. I'm sure it drops off quite a bit from the muzzle energy.
if you are hitting around 70 fpe from this gun your probably at 50ish fpe at 100. you have to know the balistics coefficient to actually figure it out.
