    I can't believe the police were appealing for the bus driver to come forward, surely all they needed to do was phone London transport with the date and they would have a record of who was driving the bus on that day, even in 1988

      @janettemohan5056 5 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      I’m a bus driver: I don’t work in London and I’m not sure what it was like back in the day but whenever a crime is committed and the suspect/victim is on our bus, they can easily trace which driver it was etc if they are low frequency routes. Higher frequency routes can be a bit more tricky but all buses have cctv so they’d be able to check that.

    with Sue Cook and Nick Ross It is nearly four months since 60-year-old Kathy Walsh was murdered in her south
    London flat. Detectives are hoping the reconstruction of her last known movements could prompt viewers to shed new light on the crime. Who was the young, fair-haired man who arranged to meet Kathy the day before she died? What happened to her DHSS allowance book and where is the brown car that was seen outside her flat the night of the murder?
    In Oxford, last December, an armed hold-up of a security van went badly wrong.
    Hundreds of shoppers looked on as the gang shot at a police car before fleeing empty-handed. They left behind crucial clues.
    Fiona Gallant , a teenager from Colchester, was murdered on 18 December last year. She was last seen talking to the driver of a distinctive lorry. Fifteen witnesses have helped compile a picture of the vehicle which viewers may identify.
