      There's a reason that table is the most popular in the overlanding world... super practical and the slide out wood is so perfect.

    It was an easy install the only issue I've had is the shelf falls open when you shut the door. But it's handy. Great for preparing for lunch. I received mine as a raffle of prize from Best top. But it seems pricey.

    Adding a molle panel to the outside of the drop down door would allow you to mount items such as a flashlight, first aid kit, etc. We try to keep these types of items readily accessible.

  • @brucesinclair9628

    These tailgate tables are priced high for what they are for sure. They do have their use I'm still debating on getting one with what I do... This is another nice option does it have any "storage room in it when closed or does that mesh take up most of the room... Just thinking if it does there might be some kit that you can place in there for quick access?? Interested in this ramp-up you are doing and where your going, always a fun watch !!

    • @AutoEdits
      @AutoEdits  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yep, lot of options for this... front runner being the most common one I see for camping folks. This one does have room inside when closed but the latch would need a bit of reinforcing if there was much weight. I can tell you that the plan at the moment is to run the entire Washington Back Country Discovery Route... should be a heck of an adventure!

    Woah there Jeepin’ Jason! Is there some paint repair needed there? How about a tutorial on small paint repair issues? Like light sanding or cleaning and proper touch up. I struggled getting the right matching color and it came out looking bad when I did mine.

    • @AutoEdits
      @AutoEdits  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Very interesting suggestion. For some reason the tailgate being trashed doesn't bother me one bit but I get it. This company I did a video on a while ago sells factory matched paint in brush touch or sprayable paint cans... th-cam.com/video/Z_3xE8HH308/w-d-xo.html Give that a try and I may order a bit more for the Jeep and do a demonstration as well!

    I really wish jeep with do away with this swing gate and back to the drop gate . I literally despise my swing gate . And at least make it where the back glass or soft top isn't so low to where you can't slide a cooler in and out without rolling up the back glass .

    • @AutoEdits
      @AutoEdits  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I totally feel what you mean here but I'm sure there are a dozen reasons why it's easier to make a tub with a swing gate. I'm trying to figure out how to get a smaller fridge that will fit on a slider under the beltline of the tailgate... we'll see what's out there.

    Hard pass for me. The net feature COULD be useful for trips home from the grocery store but not enough to outweigh the other negatives. 1- WAY too expensive. I purchased my RC swing gate table for less than 1/3 the price and that included shipping and tax. (No it does not rattle, at all. 2 - It is PLASTIC. My table is all metal and I use it regularly to hold my camp stove while I make a meal or a cup of coffee. I am sure this would melt.
