I have this watch. Bought it solely for the dual band GPS for my running and cycling to sync with my Adidas running app. It is very accurate and battery life never been an issue for me so far. I do however not use the features much other than spotify and Adidas app.
Awesome review! Would you say the resting heart rate is off at all? Mine surely seems to be. I've had several watches in the past... Galaxy, google pixel, moto, mi bands, honor and Huawei. With the Xiaomi i can bee sitting still and i look at it and it will almost always be between 99-120. If i do a manual heart rate check it's go to around 55 which is normal for me. Any suggestions with how to fix it? Also i totally agree with you the l crown should scroll thru the menus as it does with Galaxy.

Well I ran half marathon with it today and it went down 20% with the screen always on. Google maps was running as well as Spotify. So around 40% battery needed for a marathon. It charges fast enough to get it to 100% before leaving the front door 😁
@@basketball24fans Just bluetooth. I carry a small emergency phone for my longer runs which has spotify on it so just use the watch for the controls. Had to do one big firmware update when I received it and says OCtober. It's not crashed on me once which I read a few people had as an issue with the first batch. I got mine December last year.

Can it connect to external HR monitor over BT?
Do you have issues with GPS tracking from watch only?
It even doesn't fix gnss position for me and many others on the forum.

Thank you very much! 😊 I didn’t test it to the absolute limit but I think it can handle a 4 hour marathon. But probably not much more than that…

Does it compete with a garmin vivoactive 5 for running/swimming tracking?
No, definitely not. Garmin watches in general have way more sophisticated running features
What are the draw backs in terms of running? Other that heart rate Sensor as you said? GPS seems to be pretty accurate
