That and giving color to the units/players/maps are attributes that make Lowko able to present the same kind of vid 1000 times and catching my interest every time. It takes skill to achieve that. Lowko not be top gm but he certainly is a top commentator (top 1 imo) 👍
What I love about Maxpax is that even though he doesn't do like crazy blink stalker control or whatever, he just hits you where it hurts. He's just always on top of things and he seems to find just the one very thing that ruins everything for his opponent. I saw him play a bunch of PvP practice games against another GM player to see the viability of a certain allin and most of the games didn't even go far because he would just do one very precise move that just makes everything fall apart.
Just want to say: I’ve just gotten into watching these, kinda like I’ve binged cool rust videos. I’ve never played either game, lots of brood war at LANs 20 years ago. I’m a squad/insurgency player these days, co-op fps with adults and teamwork… Lowko’s commentary brings so much insight to non-players making watching the strats and and tactics really fun. I know that even back in the day I couldn’t fathom the speed pros move at. Thinks being measured in clicks-per-second all of them doing something really shows the skill these guys have. uThermal explaining what he does is also really cool. I feel like I’m learning broader concepts on battle and movement in general. Very cool! Thanks Lowko and many others!

When we try to learn french and they're "ze table is obviously feminine", and every english speaker is like "why doesn't your language just have normal rules?!" English is the most 'this is the rule unless..." language in the league. Lowko you manage to deliver amazing content in your non native language and give off-handed liguistic puzzles to the native speakers all at once. You're amazing.
48:00 I think 'Flight of Shame' is more correct than 'Fly of Shame' since in this context 'Fly' is used more as a verb, whereas 'Flight of Shame' can be used as a proper noun to describe the event I could be wrong, I'm a native English speaker but honestly the language is hashed together from so many other languages that the rules and intricacies are absurd. Like you said, I think most English speakers just wing it for the most part.

I don't understand what +1 on the phoenix would do. It increases the DPS significantly, but unless you lift a ton of units at once, it won't change the number of volleys needed to kill anything, since SCVs and marines have such low health.
Correct, pros don't get +1 on the Phoenix because of overkill, there is no point. Against Medivacs it would be a bonus but definitely not worthwhile over making gas heavy units, tech or Forge upgrades.

on upgrading phoenixes: I don't think it changes the value you get out of them in a meaningful way. They fulfill their role as a harassment/utility-unit between, while tanking and picking off or disabling high-value units and medivacs during (dis)engagements without +1 air weapons about as well. If you analyze what the phoenixes are doing during engagements, they generally aren't limited by time, but opportunity - i.e. they're often somewhat idling, even during engagements, while doing everything they reasonably could. I'd wager increasing their dps would mostly increase their idle-time.

Have you thought about official / live casting? I think you'd be really good and you wouldn't have to feel like a crazy guy talking to yourself.
