awww! Until last month i was Playing in a Decent system with too many mods and ENB's. Then my system blew up cause of overheating issues. My laptop can't even start skyrim... :( :( ... Tyler Evan You can't get above 30 dmg. Unless you have the duel enchant perk and 100 enchanting, so it's not that easy for everybody. You also ofc need the absorb blood enchant to begin with.

Jane Murphy I kinda agree but in another way Iu still want enchanting and smithing and alchemy to be op If you maxed out every thing and used every thing in the game to reach the most powerful gear ( but of course not like what Skyrim did its stupid that much of damge you can reach from these methods ) But what I want from TES 6 that every unique gear you get it have a unique enchatemnt that you COULD NEVER get it in another gear like the Zephyr Bow that enchatemnt is pretty fucking good and you can NEVER get that enchatemnt in any other gear The Ebony mail armor it does have a really good looking enchatemnt that when you crouch it cloak you with a black kinda smoke that damge nearby enemies I want all of the unique gear to be unique basically :)
Abdulaziz Al Saif For breaking down the _true_ problems with crafting, I'll make my list. *Smithing:* I think the real problem here is _how much_ you can improve items, well over 200%. My solution would to basicly make a hybrid of Skyrim and Oblivion. You will be able to improve any item up to 20% at 100 level, or 35% with a perk. Taking the perks would also allow you to craft the items themselves. *Enchanting:* The problem here is twin enchanting, it just easily overpowers almost any enchantment in the game, bar The ring of the Erudite for a caster. My solutuion would be to make it so when you chose a new enchantment they lose 30% magnitude. *Alchemy:* The only _real_ problem with alchemy is it's bugs (restoration\marksman potions), which should obviously be fixed. Other than that, it only becomes overpowered when making the other two crafting skills even more overpowered.
You could just take out fortify enchanting and smiting potions to solve the last one. I agree with you points. Though it is fun being able to ach 1000000 dmg it does make the game very very easy and then it loses enjoyment.

i actually did a duplication trick and destoyed the duplicated one so i got the enchantment and still had the og one lol. its a nice sword tho. i managed to get it to 5 damage and it would look cooler with a weapon sheath mod as well.

Okay, so I'm running into the problem a lot of other players do with this weapon: the Skyrim Wiki says that the sword is at its best level when the player enters Folgunthur at Level 36+ (Absorbs 25 HP from whoever it strikes) and I kept myself from entering the dungeon or beginning the quest until I was at least at Level 36 (I tried just now at Level 37) Having previously discovered Forgunthur in the overworld and received the "Letter from a friend" about the Thu'um wall inside earlier on in the game, I fast-travel and complete the dungeon, but when I loot Mikrul's body, it's the version of the sword that's between Levels 27-35 (Absorbs 20 HP from foes) I'm not the only one whose encountered this, with other players complaining about having been well above the level for the strongest version of the sword and enter the dungeon/start the Forbidden Legends quest at that level, yet they get the weaker sword as their prize - any reason as to why this happens? Is it set to that level when the player *discovers* the dungeon in the overworld, is it from me getting the letter about the Shout at a lower level that fixes the level of the sword at that moment, or is there a bug involved? I got the Pale Blade at its strongest just fine after completing The Pale Lady by at least Level 28, so why is this so different? (Also, this is for the Xbox 360 version, so no console commands to alter its level artificially for me)
I found out what was wrong, I had the "Find the Word of Power in Folgunthur" quest active before the Forbidden Legends quest was started - had to go back quite a while in my saves before finding the moment before I got the letter about it, but now I have both the Gauldur Blackblade and Blackbow at their highest power rating after reaching level 36 and avoiding the Word of Power quest, also Smithed them to get them to Legendary status as well. No worries, I'm taking the game slowly now to get all the levelled loot at their highest rating, meaning I'll be going after Miraak's stuff in Dragonborn at level 60 - got to get there now I'm at level 46, but this should be interesting.
It's soooo funny because I was level 48 and when I completed the stormcloak story he gave the deadric sword of leaching it has the same enchantment and more damage because it was deadric basically the best weapon in the game
It's one of the choices once u finish the thieves guild quest line and if ur sneak is 100 with the last perk up grade it allows u to be invisible for 1 second
I just subscribed. I enjoyed this video but I'm looking at Gauldur Blackblade in my bag. Here are the stats on that weapon according to PS4. dps is 9 weight is 12 value is 465. Enchantment is Absorbs 10 points of damage. O.o Stating the obvious I'm sorely dissapointed.

I got this pretty early game and not realising it was a unique item i disenchanted it straight away.
you can also disenchant both of the gauldur weapons and put those enchantments on stronger weapons.

You can make any armor as any race as long as you have the right smithing perk. Is that what you mean?

I think you confused frost breath with ice form frost breath is just like fire breath ice form freezes them solid until you attack
