AMAZING layout and use of space
I lived in the neighborhood back in the late 70's and early 80's. I think it was on this property but the house was very old and we were renting the main floor while a nice Greek lady lived upstairs with her two daughters.

That "loft" space looks kind of a "so what?" situation. No way apparently to get there, and no railing of any kind on either end. Seems a bit of a risk unless you want to use it for infrequently accessed storage space, but that could look less than ideal.
"can be" was the phrase used. Meaning it is not currently used for that. You would simply add a railing on the hall side for safety and a ladder to the bedroom side.

The dining table is awkwardly placed as the chairs at the rear can’t be pulled out. If you move the table out from the wall, then the light fixture isn’t over the table. The second and third bedrooms are small-I’d hate to put a full-size dresser in either one.

It’s a nice place but the layout is weird. The stairs wasted a ton of space, and why are there two washrooms next to each other? The laundry machines would be loud since they’re next to the bedrooms.

Not a kid friendly home. It’s great for maybe a professional couple. You could rent the basement out for extra cash. All you need is a separate private door to enter the basement via the garden.

It’s a nice home with some great finishes. However I do not like the layout of the main floor. Also I do feel that there is a lot of wasted space.
