I can’t express how EASY it was to install. This unit has been a life savior during the summer and some days during other seasons where it can still be a bit warm at night. In this small place is my friend, a husky, poodle mix and myself. We need AC - lolI don’t use the dehumidifier option - I’m not sure if it will leak in my house, since I did not install the small draining hose that came with it. May look into it late but I don’t worry about much humidity in the apartment. I don’t understand why the negative reviews since all things mentioned, I personally did not find issues with. Definitely worth it!
More people are interest i music for this production then about e unit it self. LG did not disappoint. It sucks on product and on training. Now I remember why I don't work on them.

I have had no problems from the ones I dealt with the thing with these things. AC units and heating units the are rated to only put out set btu or cooling equivalent. Most people think they are completely charged when you get them it depends on your line sets. The math was done wrong. Most people do not consider thing like Windows and inhalation of the area. Most people buy units that are under sized units.
andrew frazee true most people just measure the area of the house we have a new central air area was for 2 tons but we got a 2.5 ton as insulation is terrible in our house our new unit is overkill for a house that is crap but same to say for our new AC and heater damn Trane sucks should have gone with York at least but Rheem Lennox and Carrier are the best

Don't buy it - my 2T split unit lasted 4 months and then died. And when you think about it - a 10 year warranty is not all its made out to be when you have to pull the compressor down off the roof and remove the blower to get it to a repair center. This is a huge disappointment - I thought I had finally found The One. This is junk.
I just buy it until 17 years but No problem.

zero . not reliable LG SMART INVERTER FAIL . I bought it for two years and works only 4 month July and August two time and now the outdoor unit is Dead . they said that the mother board is Dead 200 dollars coast and I don't believe them I think the starter capacity fail.

Don't buy lg a.c. I bought 1.5 ton inverter split a.c. and after 4 months it's dying and not able to cool. Only do 26 degree when outdoor temp is 32 and lg says it's works fine. Bulshit

Also, got this problem. The outdoor unit shuts down. What makes the problem worse is that the LG customer support had said it is "normal".
