It is 2023, stil hits harder than anything out right now. Insane beat with chaotic lyrics, beautiful.
The “dont” sampled from white lines makes me so happy.
LP's beats are the sickest out there
Bro you aint lying
Saw everything you frauding fukn family
I believe this is the song with the guy from police academy that makes all the effects with his mouth. Great stuff as always
Best duo since outkast. Killer mikes energy is insane. I would kill a fuckboy to see them live
You wouldn't kill a fuckboy just to kill a fuckboy?
I just saw them in Toronto. Both of them were soaked by the end of the show. Sooo much energy.
I saw them in Detroit. They had audio problems throughout the show so at one point El-P solved this by jumping into the crowd.
YoDawgoneeleven They discussed all the audio problems in Detroit as part of all the issues they've had on this tour. Their bus keeps breaking down and was on fire at one point.
burmashavetom Yeah I know. That's why Despot and Ratking weren't in Detroit.
2:33 one of the best beat change ups I've ever heard
Literally gives me goosebumps!!
the best
The fact people are coming back to this album means it's a timeless classic
RTJ and Big L big picture, never gets old.
Yup 👍 fire 🔥 track
L)))))p0
u know why im come back ? BF HARDLINE change my mind
I wuz away
this song gets me so fuckin hyped on hardline.

BF Hardline put this song on the radar.
hahahaha i will not start a ride without this tune on!! i feel such a total badass when this is on xD
This song makes all the car chases so much more badass!
Killer Mike did exactly what his name says. Killed this beat.
Killa Mike (Kill a mic)
and float like a ninjarina
Ummm deliverer ....deliver devils back home
Run The Jewels are so underrated
Lets keep them as our little secret
Not by me they aren't.
too right
not by me
i’ve been listening to joke by rm for 2 years and just now i realized this is the original beat
SAME HERE
And way better
🤮🤮
Nah the original by run the jewels is way better
El-P's beats are un-fuck-with-able. Never a dull track.

One of the hardest hip hop songs ever made tbh
That beat change changed my life
this was the first run the jewels song I heard, besides jeopardy
This song is in Battlefield Hardline! I heard it on the radio in one of the cars, and I was speechless.
It's fucking awesome hearing one of my favorite songs in one of my favorite games.
Everything it came on was electric haha
When I hear El-P's verses I'm in awe of how raw it is. And then Mike's verses happen I'm just blown by the cleverness. THEN THEY SWITCH. They are both amazing rappers.
Hell yeah. One of the best duos right now! Another duo is The Underachievers, check them out!
Anyone explain to my dumb ass what this song is about ?
Grindermann
It's simply really.
RTJ is king and anyone who tries the crown get murdered. Physically and lyrically.
El p is a monster always has been
First they talk about the state of the world as it is, then they assert their dominance.
If we had to send one Hip Hop track into space...

i loved blasting it out in the van during hotwire
💯 bruv
I would skip the radio till that came on because it was so badass driving being chased while having guys in your car shooting back at the car chasing you
Me and the boys running from the cops in a van, blasting this.
And assassin by Spank Rock as well.
RTJ should consider making a continuous video for the whole RTJ2
Yup all tracks deserve a video
soulaiman agalf
I agree. I Love the album you have as your avatar as well!
The one for Love Again would be interesting
woah a continuous video? like a video?
MelficeSephiroth MACHINE FUCKING HEAD
This might just be the perfect rap song. Like, there's absolutely nothing to criticize. Even the video is dope. This shit needs to be played at every major event in my life. Bar mitzvah, major surgeries, my wedding, the birth of my kids, my funeral, etc...
Not really 😂😂
I mean it's aight
Lefteris Ntikiel
If thinking this song is kingshit makes me either, then so be it.
I love the beat. I love what a certain Korean rapper did with this beat
nahhhhh close your eyes, crown, and lie cheat steal are much better songs on that album
best group of the past 10 years. I've seen Run the jewels twice . their live shows are up there with their amazing music
Ah man been waiting for them to come to the Netherlands for so long now. I asume the place was wrecked (in a positive way) when the performed??
RM’s joke brought me here. Now I gotta listen to more Run The Jewels, didn’t know them.
me too
i suggest oh lala or Legend has it. they are the first 2 songs i heard from them and i love it immediately
Best DuoRap in the scene
Same
Me too
That first El-P verse is Killer
Black Ice fuck the law they can eat my dick that's word to pimp*
he hasn't spit a 16 that couldn't destroy most rappers in years. man's talent is untouchable.
Alabaq Q But damn, that third El-P verse... this whole track is killer.
+Ronin Blax Mushroom Cloud same applies to both of them tbh
Haha
I've been hearing the name run the jewels for years. I see what all the hype was about. This song is sick!
Rishi Kabir welcome buddy
Same here. Had i known who they were before today, i would have neen a day one fan. Loved them seperately. Had no clue.
You should check out company flow... Its elps early group... Think how this is more digi cyborg coflow is more analog alien... Same lane just a different ride....
"I'm not from Earth. From far away. I bust through chests like baby greys!" hahaha Alien movie reference - awesome! That is one of the most awesome El-P lines ever! I still feel like I'm in a submarine whenever I play this track in my car. Those sonar sounds at the beginning still put me in the zone. El-P's production is like fine wine, getting even better and better with age. Also... will be finally seeing them live coming up later in July. So stoked! STAY G-O-L-D, fellow Runners! >:D
9 years later and this track still never gets old
This will ALWAYS SLAP!!!
It's timeless!!!
I was always a huge EL fan but fuck Mike is a beast
scribbin the scribe 1 i always loved killer mike. his verse was always my favorite on Outkasts "The Whole World"
Adam Walters hell yes. and his verse on snappin and trappin was basically just an on the spot freestyle.
I've always loved El for his work on Company Flow, so legendary
LOL
I always change the station to this song in Hardline , the bASSSSS is sick in game.
It's sick either way haha
zack kennedy true that
TheAgentAssassin My subwoofer goes crazy on this
iReima Didn't except to see big Reima here.
TheAgentAssassin how the hell do you have 1k subs?
El-p was in his bag wit this beat fr 🔥🔥
Still one of their rawest raps. The lyrics alone are dope as hell and the beat is insane. I'm with you.
Oh my. Dat bass.
The model they used is definetly in the category, oh my.😍😍
@@samdegoeij6576 agreed, sad that no one seems to have a name...

can we just agree El-p is the best producer of all time for hip hop?
Insect Trainer he's up there man. he's definitely the best producer/rapper in my opinion.
Dude produced The Cold Vein. He's in the conversation.
Shit, remember Company Flow?
The Cold Vein might very well be one of the best rp albums of all time. It's that great!
HES IN THE MIX FUR SHURRRR
Hardline introduced me to this gem. Loved RTJ ever since.
I slept on them for another 5 years or so. but I loved this track in Hardline.
“Show up to your class what’s happening? Schoolyard bully with a full-automatic, heart full of pain and a head full of habit.” No one asked Mike to go that hard.
Dude,too true
Gbomb31 2:34
It's "head full of havoc"
True if what u mean everyone when u say no one
If you listen to any single line of an RTJ song it's harder lyrics than anyone else out there. This duo goes so hard.
Eargasm.
+moviechic07 I 2nd dat
+PsychedbE just about to note that
+moviechic07 concur!
moviechic07 you got the right idea
i keep replaying Killer Mike's entry. Its so fucking insane.
This song came out 6+ years ago and this is still the most 🔥🔥🔥 beat I've ever heard.
I love when killer Mike jumps in with an Outkast BOB vibe
Sometimes I fucking confuse myself trying to find out who's singing
One of the few albums I can listen to front to back and not skip one track. Great lyrics, but the beats are some of the best I've ever heard. The best way I can explain this album is that it's just a banger from front to back. Every song had my head nodding and the transitions from song to song are flawless, as is the production. Probably the first album since the MMLP in 2000 where I nodded my head the whole time and liked every track the first listen. This is an album that will make you want to drive when you're trying to save money using gas. I drove to downtown Memphis all the way from the east side the other day just to listen to this album in my Hummer. That's the best way I can describe this.
Is anyone on their level at the moment?
Hail Marry Mallon
Chris Tweten Close... almost cosign that!
Chris Tweten close so very close. Just don't think there's enough variety in aes and robs voices. But its only a slight downside to beastiery. Lyrically and musically on par though.
Gingercreeper Aesop is at the best he's ever been as a rapper and as a producer. Rob compliments him perfectly and they've been a duo for much longer than RTJ. If anything, RTJ are catching up to them.
Chris Tweten I don't know, man. HMM is great, but their first album didn't really stay in rotation long for me. It took me a while to really eat up Rob's style. Their new album is glorious, but Run the Jewels just hit me with an awesome impact right from the beginning. Also, if you count R.A.P. Music as a RTJ album, they've collaboratively put out more music than HMM. You also have to consider that El functions as the main producer of RTJ and while Aes is a dope producer, his style owes so much to Blockhead and El-P.
Needed to check out the original beat. Thank you for inspiring our leader to use it. It's a definite masterpiece. 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜
For real 🤩
I need you to cue me in. What brought you to RTJ?
@@Akard517hell BTS RM- "Joke"
That beat is sick! RM's Joke brought me here
One of the best Hip-Hop songs I've ever heard in a LONG time.
both albums... modern classics...
my favourite hip hop song
This has to be the tightest shit I've heard in forever. New to your music, but hooked immediatly. Never stop!!
I have this fear of getting tired of a song, so I don't play it a lot.
But I can't stop listening to this.
My favorite song on the album.
Never encountered a rap group that rocked as hard as these guys.
Real ones bumped this in BF hardline
real ones played bfh 🔥🔥 my fav fr
Is it just me or do people really understate how much of a beast El-P is as an MC. Dudes a lyrical monster, definitely more intricate than Mike. Though Mike has the aggression. Probably one of the reasons why they work so damn well together.
even if thats true, it doesn't shine through in this album. Mike constantly rips him in every song.
El-Ps verse on Crown, Jeopardy, Oh My Darling, All My Life are incredible, plus saying that Mike "rips" El-P means you're totally missing the point of the group, they're one voice against everybody, they work together on this shit.
Only people that arent familiar with company flow could think that. Thise of us that know about that shit fully kniw hiw dope el is
TheMightyForeskin I'm opposite man, I'm at the edge of my seat waiting on el-p's verses. I just think he has less of a "gangster" attitude/persona which Mike deffs has. I think that gives him abit more room to be more intricate rather than aggressive and heavy, he just sounds smart. Funny thing too is they just swapped a lot of their lines, I know some of my personal favorite killer Mike rhymes on this album were actually written by El-p, but that's why their such a good duo, their working as one.
Producto's lyrical ability has been clearly established for a while, check out I'll Sleep When You're Dead.
Every song of theirs is flat out amazing.
Man this beat just gets you pumped 💪
More ARMYs really need to hear this at least in respect to the original. This was such a sick beat.
for real
@@Zach-zm6dx um he didn't steal it. Many rappers in today's world use same sample beats and RM probably got heavily influenced to write lyrics on listening this beat. ^~^ I hope this explains
@@Zach-zm6dx as what the other me has mentioned. Many rappers/creatives use beats already existing and create a whole song out of it. That's called sampling. As long as the original creator was credited, nothing is wrong with sampling.
@@anickia12 lol you called me the other me xD
@@Zach-zm6dx bruh. It is credited to run the jewels, he didn't steal the beat.
The YT video is licenced to the owners of this song and the only other platform he released it is on soundcloud.
If there was any legal issues those would already be taken down.
I still can't believe these two dudes topped their first album. Hope they get more attention, this dope music fucking deserves it. #realbadguyshit
They're sick for riding those beats nearly effortlessly
"We run this spot like a Chinese sweat shop" ... 🖒🖒 How I feel about my job
ŚLEPNĄC OD ŚWIATEŁ 💙 SZTYWNIUTKO ✊
Honestly I have really come to love this group and what they do. This video is killer.
Had 2 watch again. A few times. I've been following El since I was 12 and this collab from the start. These cats are sprintin' fast. They'll be the first to the finish line after they ran the entire marathon with blunts in they mouths, stoppin' only for shots of Henny. One of my dreams is to go to one of their shows b4 I die and give em dap for making some of the best all around music on the scene rn. I predict this might be their peak, but lets just see where it goes and hope for more of these socio-political, verbally acrobatic, BANGERS.
***** Imaginative.
ive seen them twice now (':
***** They never come to Columbus, I'd travel to see them if I wasn't a penniless curmudgeon.
***** I saw them the week of Thanksgiving. They started the set and the sound guy was having problems. 2 songs in El-P and Mike couldn't hear themselves and the crowd couldn't hear them. They then got it right and STARTED OVER. So much respect for them for that.
I've seen them Wednesday in Glasgow and it was really great and intense. I was in the front row and I got crushed all set long against the gate (I still have some small bruises and my mid torso at the height of said gate still hurts over 30 hours later) but the guys took some time twice in the show between songs to make everyone take one or two step backs, to allow us in front some breathing room. They finished the set with hugging just about everyone in front. They were very energetic on stage and intense yet they seemed humble and genuinely wanted to be there. They love playing their songs, they love the audience and they love being on a stage together and you can feel the chemistry so much. I really wish you to have the chance to see them.
came here after RM's- joke
both artists killed it
6.5 Million views! Great to see these 2 getting some shine. Amazing artists.
Holy SHIT, my subwoofer is really overactive with this song.

Like you have to watches on and dont know which one to look at.
Beautiful
oh ma.
thanks rm for introducing me to this duo, this beat is amazing
Rm ate this song
Anyone who has a subwoofer in their car knows they cant listen to this because all you hear is the bass the whole song. Or maybe I need to adjust my bass levels.....probably the latter.
there ain't no wob in this.
i listen to it from 500$ monitor headphones m8. "wob" is a lame dubstep sound-specific term. theres no wob here, just serious bassbiziness.
Lol yup adjust your bass, my ninja! This track is the schnitzel...like a massage for your internal organs while you drive!
It's the same exact way with DDFH lmao
TheHurtShoulder
Killer Mike is in the top ten rappers of all time, the guy is absolute class!!!
Everything they do is Amazing!!!
Killer Mike has so much 🔥🔥🔥.. i cant get enough of him
Rap Monster brought me here, but the OG is dope as!
Great choice Namjoon.
More ppl need to recognize and respect the originators of the beat RM used instead of bashing on RtJ... Nice of u to give respect!

This is the definition of a perfect song.
I can’t click that like button enough. This is one of the greatest tracks ever.
This was the first song of this amazing talented group that i ever heard. This song, led to other songs, led to mike and his activism and THAT has awoken me to so much more.
This album is what I've been listening to ever since I found out that we probably have to wait until 2016 for Run the Jewels 3. Ironically, it helps me deal with the seething anger over _that_, too.
just seethe..
How did it pay off for ya?
3 albums in 5 years and you're gonna bitch about 2 years? that's some bullshit.
Are you fukkin kidding me???? When the beat changes at 02:33, that is insane. The whole album is something else, unofficial album of the year. And this was done in like a year or less, I heard they are working on the 3rd album, if that shit tops the second one? It's a wrap, cause you can already enjoy each song from the album.
Unofficial? nah, put a stamp on that shit, give it the ribbon. Fucking official album of the year.
These guys r so underrated killer mikes flow is fukin brutal...
When they drop rtj4 it'll be massive
yo i STILL get the chills listening to this
This group is the most punk rock thing going right now. I am so happy this music exists, and I am so happy people are feeling it.
They just handle these tracks so smoothly. It feels so seamless when they trade verses
Phew, what a track. Saw RTJ in Portugal and they destroyed it! Love these guys!
Damn, this Duo is burning up the mike, spitting like there's no end.
This shit is fucking fire, the energy in the beat alone could take over the rap game but when you add the lyrics this could take over the world. This is some truly powerful and meaningful music these guys are creating.
these dudes got it, the flow, the beat, awesome heavy shit!
Wanted to check this out after watching RM Joke . Nice beats 👍
Saviors of hip hop
The energy on this track is crazy!
1:23 Love how Mike is just having fun.
007 style intro visuals with RTJ rhymes and beats!
Once every couple of decades you hear something...something that is just so right. I mean, right on. Thanks.
As a metalhead, RTJ is the ONLY hiphop I listen to 🤘💜🤘

I still think this is their best song. I have jammed it for years
Hit after hit with these dudes!
Is it just me who can't help but listen to this banger atleast 5 times a day? 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Great stuff - They're a great duo!
This was the only song I listened to when I drove in Hardline 🤙 probably some of my best moments in my entire Battlefield career
Damn! This is the definitive hip-hop jam! This song gets me so hyped up!
First sont I hear from these guys, now I can't stop listening to them.
I didnt know the soundtrack is by theres😂 its so EPIC!! I LOVE THE BEAT!! Both Joon and both them did it well in diffrent ways!😊
I just got up on this. This duo is on point. El-P's first verse and Killer's follow up are magnificent.
