I admire his courage to canoe on the Loch. I think that if Nessie is real, the loch is more of a spawning ground. Some marine animals migrate to lakes and rivers to have their young. So, whether it's an eel, a catfish, or an actual surviving plesiosaur, the females would have their young in the loch and probably return to the North Sea. Most likely through the Inverness River. Having looked at Google Maps of Loch Ness, I have noticed several smaller lochs nearby, so if there is a cave system, it could connect to one of them. This is just my theory, I could very well be wrong. Though I do hope that there are surviving plesiosaurs around.

Nessie might not be real but the spirit of Loch Ness clearly lives on! I think it's great that people from all over can come to Loch Ness to discuss and share history, culture, science and more.

A monster lives alone for hundreds of years, come on? No babies? Locked in a fresh water loch, no access to the sea, 900 feet deep in places.. When tourist numbers dwindle, a "sighting" soon fixes that. I live near Loch Ness, we all have to eat.

0:55 - I know from experience that if you feed the local ducks the right kind of duck pellets, painted turtles will show up to get the pellets the ducks leave behind or let sink; maybe that fellow should try a pickup truck bed full of pellets and see what happens!
