Signal box is still there. I remembered I was on slam doors train from London Victoria to Brighton in 1996 but there was engineering work. This route has added calling at Lewes (better than Littlehampton). When the train left Lewes and stop, and saw the driver walked through the coaches. The train waited until the rail has changed line for Brighton. Then the train moved and I saw Signal box there and signal staff waved at train driver.
Great film as usual! Thanks. One niggle c 10m 06 sec 'Sleaford' should read 'Seaford' - otherwise its a long journey to Lincolnshire!! [and again at 12.17 etc]
You missed the former, now filled in line between the current platforms 2&3. It is clearly evident as it has a top coating of loose stones rather than tarmac. It is almost as if it might be brought back into use, which is not likely.
I got it right the first few times and my geography is quite good. I guess I just lost the plot ten minutes in. Unfortunately there is no way to correct it now it is published.
I imagine that the locals would prefer a 377 and I'm surprised that Southern haven't been able to rejig their fleet to make three car units available. Having said that my journey from Lewes to Brighton on a 313 was pleasant enough.
Please accept my apologies. I obviously had a brain fade as I managed to get it right the first few times. If I had done it only once I would have blamed my typing as my geography is quite sound but I must have just lost the plot at 10 minutes in. Unfortunately there is no way to change the subtitles once the video is published.
Being someone that lives in Seaford, I am a bit offended that you are referring to the town as Sleaford. Can I suggest that you have a little less haste and spend a bit more time checking your graphics before posting in future please.
Please accept my apologies. I obviously had a brain fade as I managed to get it right the first few times. There is a phenomenon called preconception that makes it very difficult to check your own work so having missed it in the read back there was no way back. Unfortunately there is no way to correct it now it is published.

Great work there mate Im a auzzie and I love the east coast way line such a nice Line thanks for sharing
10:29 the now-empty pantograph well can be seen - presumably removed as it (should) never encounter overhead lines operating that far south.
Great railway video as always Boogies Trains.

It makes a nice feature. Looks like it was quite short.
The usual high quality Mr Boogie. Well done 🤓
Apart from the small whoopsee with the spelling of Seaford!
@@BoogiesTrains that's just an 'L' of a mistake. 🤣🤣
I think a 313 is more likely to go to Seaford, rather than Sleaford. :-)
The curse 🤬 of predictive text strikes!!

Just a brain fade I'm afraid. No predictive text on my video editor.
My local line. I hope the 313s stay for as long as possible.
True. Class 313 are very reliable.
@@Andrewjg_89 they're going in december
Scrap them! Hateful things.

@@BoogiesTrains yes, but if you are unlucky you can do seaford-brighton-portsmouth on a 313. Cross your legs!
Your graphics say SLEAFORD which is Lincolnshire!
Should say SEAFORD thanks

The Class 313 are still going aren’t they except that they were replaced by the Class 717 on the Northern City Line.
Great video
Question:
Would you rather be on an 8 coach train or a 12 coach train?
Does it make any difference provided you are comfortable?
@@BoogiesTrains I mean sometimes trains with more coaches could be so busy including the Victoria trains that I take sometimes.
