Great video. Attachments and detachments are made at Horsham, the services from Portsmouth Harbour and Southampton Central to London Victoria couples to the service from Bognor Regis to London Victoria. The Bognor Regis service can be formed of 4 or 8 coaches while the services from Portsmouth Harbour and Southampton Central are formed of 4 coaches, so when they attach: the service becomes either 8 or 12 coaches. These trains also divide here on their return services.
A fascinating railway station again a visit to the UK and family and a trip over to Brighton on the train love it I am a kid when it comes to travelling on commuter trains. What agreat station great to see the way it is so cared for I cannot wait to return to go and explore the country, I want to walk the Cuckoo line too
South Western Railway services split at Bournemouth, with the front portion continuing to Weymouth and the rear portion terminating at Bournemouth. Also (I believe, not completely sure though) when Great Western Railway run double 800s on a Saturday evening service for Carmarthen, the units split at Swansea and only one of the units then continue all the way to Carmarthen
Horsham, Victoria to Bognor and Southampton/Portsmouth........not sure if you wanted Southern specifically but Colchester is another one where peak trains to/from Harwich Town join/split with services to/from Clacton/Walton on the Naze/Colchester town.
I know some splitters the pourtsmouth and Bognor Regis split at Horsham it’s either Bognor is 8 or 4 and Portsmouth is formed off 4 coaches sometimes 8 well rarely happens from London and Southampton are formed off 4
