  • Here's a ride on one of the best performances I've had on a Pulsar and on this route in general, you join me on Arriva Midlands VDL SB200 Wright Pulsar 2 bodied 3807 (TUI 7936) that was on a late 85 to South Wigston, usually the drivers can tend to be slow on the late 85s but this one on this night the driver was very eager and fast seeming to want to get this run done, it was a run so good I couldn't resist but doing the full route to South Wigston instead of getting off my stop back home in Eyres Monsell but instead walking back from South Wigston, it was a much better trip than the last time I had it on this without chatty teens and it's broken diff
Onto some news, starting with the DAFs, 4765 and 4777 have now made their final journey to the scrapyard in the skies after being sat in the corner of Thurmaston for weeks being stripped for parts, it is also to be said 2528 and 4767 have joined the both all going to Shelton Motors scrapyard, as it stands 4760 and 4761 still hang on as the last two
Onto some more positive news, former First Manchester Volvo B7L 66354 sees a new life in preservation after being sat at Manchester College after life as a driver trainer, it's the third B7L to see preservation, it's such a shame none of Leicester's KV02s never got to see a well earned preservation despite the plans for one of them to be after withdrawal in 2020 but I cannot complain, at least 32059, 32067 and 32644 are all preserved of my childhood
Enjoy this amazing run on 3807 :)
