Her full real name is Park Chaeyoung, or commonly known as Rosé but other Blackpink members call her "Chaeng." Sometimes, she is also called "Chipmunk", "Foodsé", and "Pasta" She is korean but was born on February 1997 in Auckland, New Zealand and raised in Melbourne, Box Hill, Australia. As a result of living abroad, she became a fluent English speaker with an Aussie accent. She came from a wealthy family where her Dad and Sister are International Lawyers the reason why they lived in Australia. She audition because her dad ask her to and ended being the only one who passed among more than 700 people who auditioned. Rosé started her training after moving back to Seoul from Australia. She trained for 4 years and 2 months (May 2012). She is the third oldest member of the Group.
After more than 4 years of training she debuted as the main vocalist, and lead dancer of the biggest girl group called BLACKPINK.
The American record labels and Korean record labels are completely different. In America, a label will scout you and pick you up as an artist. In Korea, you audition at a company in hope of being a trainee. If you pass and become a trainee, you train for years in sing/rapping and dancing and other things to debut. yes the group mentioned are another korean group called bts. bts are definitely bigger than blackpink. bts are the biggest group in the world right now. they were the best selling artists in the world last year beating out drake, eminem, taylor swift etc. (to give you an idea of their global scale) . blackpink are the biggest girl group in the world and they’re amazing. i love both groups and they’re on top of their games right now. “k-pop” as a whole isn’t big worldwide, it’s mainly just bts and blackpink. i’d love for you to react to bts too. maybe start off with their song ‘mic drop’. love your blackpink reactions, hope you end up loving these talented girls as much as we do.
