I keep looking at your new apartment and think how much better it is than the old one. This one has so much natural light, seems to have more space, and you can open the windows without any worries. I'm glad Jhaape is feeling better, it's so hard when your fur babies can't tell you what's wrong!

If you don't already, I would suggest after you come back from a walk, cleaning Jhappe's paws. The stuff he's picking up on the streets has so much bacteria. Dogs naturally chew on their paws, and then he'll get sick. Glad he's better.

Tisha, Have you ever considered a portable washing machine? I used one with 32Lbs Capacity and Drain Pump when I was in grad school. I worked from home and it was convenient. I only used the condo's laundry room for things like bedspreads. I think I paid $165 for mine on Amazon.
I was going to suggest a portable washing machine, too! And, then air dry your clothing on a clothing rack. It's got to be so hard to lug all of that laundry up and down 5 flights!
I've made the suggestion before. It literally hurts me seeing her lug laundry like that, in the cold or at night too. The portable machines pay for themselves so fast and one gladly makes the room for the convenience. Hope she tries it soon.

What do you use to get your floors so shiny? They always look clean. I have pets also and constantly struggle with our floors.
Also, just saw the roach thing. I think that makes you a true New Yorker now lol
Our corgi got really sick to her stomach at the end of 2021 when my husband and I had covid. Her vet said they can catch it also but show different systems. Her stomach was so messed up. Before that she would jump on the bed by herself but during that time I had to help her. I think she continued to milk it for like a month after feeling better because she waited for me to help her up all that time. She gets up on her own again now. We have stairs but only one out of three of our dogs will use them. Our newest dog will not get on the bed by himself. Except for Christmas Day last year. I don’t know what it was about that day but he ran and jumped up on the bed three times in a row. I called it a Christmas miracle lol. He has not done it since 😂
I see you have a drying rack. Why not do some hand washing of some of the smaller items during the week. This will give you lighter loads at the laundermat.

P.S. I thought of another idea.... what do you think of a small bistro table by your window to have meals at? It could be at the left corner where you have some plants, possibly......and, could be another space to put a small house plant or two, which would look really cozy & homey. That might be a nice break from your desk, too, to define "work space - meal space." : )

Loved the idea but my work desk and chair is already bulky. I am scared it might be too furniture heavy in that section 😅. Maybe once I decide what to do with the dresser I’ll rethink about it

You should look into an apartment washer / dryer.. I spent $500 on both (black and decker) and it’s literally changed my life.. I also live on a higher floor and it’s made my life so much easier!

They also make portable washer that hooks up to your kitchen sink. Consider that too

Your dog may need a rug for traction to jump on the sofa. That was the case for my dog. Her little paws slid and she didn't feel confident making the leap. A rug makes jumping off the sofa safer as well.

Jhappe is such a good dog, never barks, he is just content wherever he goes. Your days off are like mine: productive with lots of random chores & errands. Your party looked fun. My roommate in college was from Dharmasthala & her bf at the time was from Nepal. She was Tibetan. She hung out with other international students& she would sometimes cook Dal. I've tired Indian food & love it, Nepalese food is next my list!

I enjoy your videos. I wish you would get one of those baskets that have the wheels on it, to help you up and down the stairs with your grocery and laundry. Get you a cute one so it doesn't look like the old lady ones. I don't want you to learn the hard way like I had to, hurting my back because I just always assumed I could carry everything.

I am so glad Jhaape is feeling better !!! I know how it is when our babies get sick. My cat was sick beginning of the year because I changed his food. Now he does only get wet food and he is so much better. So if you changed the food or maybe there was a change in the recipe of your old food. Might be an option to ask the company.
I havent changed jhaape's diet. I am not really sure what happened. That is a good point what if the company changed the ingredients 🙏

I have a 4 day work week but I work 4 10 hour days. It's hard. But since my commute is 40 miles, it helps to have one less trip.

Hi Tisha I'm just getting caught with your latest videos. Sorry your doggie was sick. I have 2 shipoo and they used to have a sensitive stomach. This problem has been resolved by changing their diet. I give the solutions pet fermented raw goat milk which has done wonders. For food I feed them smallbatch gently cooked chicken or turkey. They are so healthy now

I loved class pass! (Chose to cancel to get a Disney pass, but I sure do miss choosing various classes to take!) I used to do hot yoga, spin, and yoga classes. And even got a massage and pedicure too!
And my Bichon frise got sick last week, I was up all night with him throwing up. I was so worried, but after a day of recovery, only eating plain rice and getting more water in- he’s ok. He tends to grab things in the backyard that he shouldn’t at times. I get how our pups are our family, and we do what we can to help them get better!

My Golden became sick when I lived in Dallas in 2007. Vomiting and diarrhea. I took her to the vet multiple times, had every test known to man. They could find nothing. Fast forward to moving to Las Vegas in 2008. I found a pet food store that sold the food I had been feeding her in Dallas. When I arrived there and asked for her food brand, the owner gave me a funny look. This sparked a conversation about her ongoing issues, and he told me she was allergic to her food. I bought a different brand he recommended and she never had the issue again.
Since Jhaape has a very sensitive stomach, he is on a prescribed diet. He has been on it since he was a puppy (they have different versions of it based on age and dog size). We give me hills to home id food. Hoping that isn’t the case 🤞🏽

@@TishaShrestha I hope so, too! I just like to share this because I feel like many vets don’t consider this simple possibility. My Golden unfortunately died in December 2015 from a nasal sarcoma. I now just have my 11-year-old cat Howie. He’s my baby.

Random but can you describe your whole invisalign journey and if you think it's worth it? I've been contemplating between it or braces for years. I think braces at 25 is awkward though. I only have gaps and want to close them. Nothing crazy. But the costs add up so quickly at the dentist. Is the aftercare a lot?
Hey, I definitely thought it was worth it. It is pricey and my insurance didn’t cover for it :( it is commitment for a year or two. I didn’t get braces growing up and wanted to get invasilgn for years. For aftercare, I only have to wear my retainer. Main con is the price. Definitely consult with the dentist and talk about expectations (what you are looking for) beforehand… like based on my jaw structure my teeth can’t go further in.. I didn’t know about this until later

The price of laundry is so expensive, have you compared the price of a laundry service? Where someone picks it up and does it for you. With how expensive it is it might be worth it.
I havent yet. I have thought about it but for now I dont feel comfortable for someone else to do my laundry...maybe in future
If I get a cold shower in the morning during the winter time I think I would die I don't know how people do it maybe it's because of my health lol but the mixer on my shower broke and if you guys don't know what that means it mixes your hot and cold water together. But girl power I was able to get it apart so I can go look for a part at the store and my neighbor has been so kind to let me go take a shower tomorrow morning

Jhaape came to my life almost 8 1/2 years ago :))
I really wanted his name to go with his Nepali middle and last name. His middle name is Lal. All the males in our family get Lal as the middle name. His full name is Jhaape Lal Shrestha :)). Jhaape doesn’t really have a meaning but it is very close to jhap (means drunk) or jhapli (messy hair)
