The Cartier Love bracelet was released in 1969, my grandmother always wore hers with the juste un Clou (released 1971) everyday from the 70s!!! Back then there were no fakes available! The fakes everyone wears has made them appear basic. I can assure you most of the Cartier, Van Cleef, Blvgari , Tiffany you are seeing is 100% fake. The real article is far from basic, these are heirlooms that get passed down for generations.
That Chanel 'Kelly' bag looks like a kids toy bag from Amazon or Walmart. If the logo was removed, no one would carry it - these are facts😂 And those shoes look like Julie Andrews would've worn them on Sound of Music :) LOL Love the sweater and jeans, such a chic look. Great video!

Really, I bought them in silver in a weekly street market here in my little town. Super comfy and beautiful! I searched the web so I could compared them with the real thing, and I think the imitation ones are smaller and more beautiful, actually.
I guess I’m ok with being basic 😂 because I love my faux-ttega earrings. (But I got the smaller version and I don’t wear them everyday) Gonna ride this trend until it becomes unanimously considered cheuggy.

I haven't seen the sculptural Prada kitten heels before and I genuinely love them! But that's my gut reaction, coming from my heart, not any hype. Same thing with the pietersite bracelet, it's so pretty! But silver, black, and bright blue are some of the core colours in my limited palette wardrobe so again it's deeply ME.
I am still wearing my combat boots! I have had my Lauren Ralph Lauren ones in tobacco brown for 4 years and I have a sharp pair of Black Guess leather ones with an ankle strap and silver hard wear*, everyone asks where did I get them*
Much as I enjoy these videos, let us not be too hard on the Basics. It's not their fault they can't think for themselves or establish their own style. And if anyone sees me in a pair of combat boots, know that they are original, often imitated, courtesy of my ten years in the military.
I have this thing, where I don't allow myself to buy or wear some clothes because I just feel like a fake. Combat boots is one of those things! I bought three pairs last week ( weekly market here in my little town ) which I love - 1.imitation leather, 2.shiny, 3.Dr Martenesque sole - but none of them have tie shoe laces, nor zippers. That way, I'm not fooling anyone. ( Just my thing ).
