This has got to be my favorite TH-cam channel. Most others just talk and talk and talk and do very little if any work. You’re putting these young guys to shame with your work. I wish you nothing but the best and hopefully you get the Mrs. Ride done so she keeps feeding you!
it is inspiring to see what one man, with limited tools and parts, in the forest can do if he puts in the work. not to mention filming it all and sharing it with us. thanks
That old truck is coming right along. Keep up the AWESOME work. I was just telling my wife yesterday how much I miss the curves of the old cars and trucks. Now they have the angles and that is fine but there is nothing like the curves of the old ones. I love seeing the old fellers being saved and put back on the road and back to work.
I was trying to remember where I seen the paint remover disk used for rust a few days ago. What a coincidence 3 days later you "refreshed" my memory with this video. It's truly a great hack, Thanks to you.
Brother you surpass every craftsman by far in your skills and knowledge pray this year continues to keep your blessings overflowing brother family and friends
Stitch welds...oriented...between your English and my Afrikaans pronouncians we"ll probably have really interesting conversations. Had a real good chuckle. Awesome job on those tanks. Suites the truck perfectly. Can't wait for the next step.
It is literally treasure you are giving away! Your showing step by step, and close up details. No-one else has put the details in that you have done and it is really appreciated
Paint one side of the adjusting handles a different color. Makes counting turns faster and more accurate. On the roller, use 2 equal flat bars, one at each end. Close rollers until both sides touch. Mark the handles pointing in the same direction. Now your turns will be in sync. I do the same to carb jet screws. Fully seat, then mark a dot with a paint pen. Then it is easy to see how far you turn it.
These are my favorite videos watching the professor fabricate metal along with visuals drawn out or actually making prototypes out of wood so you can figure out exactly how things (especially suspension) are going to work . I hope you someday you'll address how you've acquired your skills and your travels working.
I have wondered what your tig rig was during all of this and now I see... Nothing too special at all. Matter of fact, it's underwhelming and yet you do perfectly fine work with it. To be honest, mine is about the price of a nice vintage car and yet, I hardly ever use it because it's so dear to me. 😂 My mig welder gets a workout, I keep trying to wear it out. I love tig when I can drag it out with harm from humidity to the unit, but we have the same climate control system in my garage in Texas along the Gulf Coast. Outstanding work!

That’s a great idea for the handles!
Awesome job on the tanks. I love the round tanks better, I think it is more time period, correct. Just my opinion.
I agree, round tanks definitely give it a more classic look.
