Alex, for your musement, a little tale of when my wife (who is blind) and me were in Yatagan, Turkey. The origin place of these short swords (yes, we went there precisely for that, to get a Yatagan yatagan for my collection, is not a touristic place). An old, distinguished gentleman on the street was so surprised of seeing a blind foreigner woman on the street (not the most common sight in early 2000's non-touristic Turkey) that, torn betwen understandable curiosity on the one hand, and old-fashioned politeness of not openly staring on the other hand, actually walked right into a streetlamp. We asisted him, and he pointed us (pun noted) towards a good knife's store. We finally didn't get the knife, but that's another matter.
Sorry for the loss of your grandmother. Hold on to those precious memories you had together. I miss mine still and it's been 4 years almost. She was a few months shy of her 101st birthday. Beautiful work on this one. Lots of little details this time.
Bu parça şu an bizde. Tarihe saygım var. I remember when I first started watching you, I thought, “He’s got talent”. The things you could do with your tools was pretty amazing. And now….you’ve grown by leaps and bounds. It seems there’s nothing you can’t accomplish. Well done, lad. Well done, indeed….
Thank you so much for your words of support and motivation. ^_^
Hello Roadrunner I am so sorry to hear about your grandmother you must be heartbroken. I remember the video of you with her. It was clear to see the love you both had for each other. Keep your chin up my friend and take care ♥️
