I've actually done this before but its never produced a bite...until I squeezed some bread tightly on the hook till it sinked slowly...then I had bites...I've also used bread on a zig using a large pellet band and had bites...sometimes u have to think outside the box 😉
I had my first 20 over 20 years ago on 2 bits of corn on the same set up, I could see the fish under the surface and they wouldn't come up for a floater (it was a warm sunny day) ...as the corn was sinking I saw a carp take it and struck.. never used it since 😃
I fished a local pit back in the 80's with depths down to 90ft and would often see fish below the surface so I fished baits under pike floats at different depths to about 9ft and used to catch regularly, really exciting. Never tried it since🤔🤔🤔. Just joined a new water which is deep and will try a refined version. Thanks for reminding me lol
I always have one of these ready when i bait up at les quis with boilies and throwing stick....plop plop plop plop....jaws take!! Shush tho...but it works...biggest fox bubble float is best
You may as well just use a big pellet waggler and spray pellets over the top like a match angler.. it’s hardly a new idea or practice . Just shows how dense most modern carp anglers are !!
I've been using one of these for half a year now yet never thought about fishing them this way. Absolutely brilliant. FW, total legend.
Wow - still innovating after all these years - great idea...!!!

Brilliant. Simple ideas are often the best… and least obvious.

Great tip Frank got to give it go 👍
Thats a bulky pellet waggler rig Frank and fire expanders at it 10 percent floaters 90 percent pumped pellets or up and down mix pellet
Now we just need some videos of it 😉
