Jaime is the best character in the books and the show. They did a great job with him. In the books you empathize with him even more because he has his own chapters and you can hear his thoughts. He is the most flawed good human being ever written. Never did I think that the guy that tried to kill Bran would be anywhere near the best character but that’s why that happens so fast. It’s so you hate Jaime and then you’re forced to deal with him making good choices. It makes you question yourself. It’s not just Cersei that he sacrifices for, it’s anyone in his immediate family. He is the only Lannister that loves every other Lannister in that nuclear family. Tywin love 2, Cersei loves 2, Tyrion loves 1, but Jaime loves all 3 of them and has to balance that somehow and constantly regrets his attempts.
There was a saying within the Nazi SS, it’s actually banned within Germany “Loyalty is my honor” I don’t think I have to explain why that’s not honorable.
jaime has always been my favorite character he is just so human and gray displaying that a man who does horrible things in superficial level could be inside just a misunderstood good person
I understand why you'd say that. However, jaime attempts to kill bran to protect his own children from be murderd by the king. So when asked what lengths you would go to protect the ones you love. Your asking a fundamental human question. That speaks to everyone as human being. Hopefully this clarifys
@@tbcoop couldn't have said it better myself. Jamie is my favorite character by far. I hated him at first, but the more you get to see him, the more I realized I related to him more then any other character.

Is he human? Is he dancer?
His signs are vital. His hand is gold.
Very human to try and kill a child I guess

@tbcoop Agreed. Most of us would do the heinous to protect the ones we love most in the world.
