Feels like I am back in 1992 raving next to the bass bins!!! I am 51years old and still feeling the sound, good job sounds like something that was made back in the day.
I remember the kids that got me into the scene in 94. They ended up dropping out the next year and I continued until 2001. From that I figured I was a second generation raver kid. Going from 2 Bad Mice and Sasha Digweed and ending with Rick West and Major Lazor. It was a great learning experience and taught me to be a better human, along with experiencing what a true Loving society we could all be if only....
Proper fucking banger, so glad that the 90's sound will never die whether it be acid trance, jungle dnb, hard tech, whatever it goes on and on and on and ooon.. if it stops I'll bring it back damned if I be the only to do it haha!
ah, fuck. they got me with it too, but for me it was taking me back to the whole '06 oldskool-revival attempt. fuckers succeeded then too. now i just want to go back to sea shanties with the boys again lol
Was having a conversation with someone just the other day about how some music is timeless and some music is of its age, and I couldn't quite place this sound in either category, even though it occupies both. Listening to this, I'm not entirely sure it's even of this planet! I will forever feel I missed out on something amazing, being just that little bit too young to experience this scene firsthand - tape packs on the school bus was the closest I ever got. By the time I was out raving, it had (almost) all moved into the clubs and that breakbeat hardcore sound had fractured and crystallised into the genres we still have today. There was the commercialisation that came after the early 1990s and with it a sadness that seemed to reverberate through the following decades.
You brought some heavyweight old skool vibes with this one, banging tune mate, this would be right up there with the all-time classics of its era if it was about back then, would love to hear more riddims like this produced, big up your gangster chest

Brilliant track. Takes me right back. Love the clip of the guy at the 4.30 mark unaware of the girl next to hime being filmed whilst he was getting an E out of the bag!

Well I mean you were the so called progressives of your time so you're not really one to talk. Same could be said about attending one massive distraction in physicality with numerous thousands of others in unison. It's honestly not much better. Taking e's and acid tabs is just as if not more depraved than wielding a phone to your hand. Being role model citizens breeding en masse rearing strong and decent children in the attempt to preserve a strong foothold in your own country would be the ideal approach. But this culture of the 90's was another cannon shot to societal stability that reinforced what was already established in the 60's. Slightly less psychedelic and more encompassing of the rise of ethnic minorities. Who have become a far larger demographic today as a result of such endorsements. Just a different flavouring each time but the principle is still the same. Mass miscegenation. Mass moral decadence. To take the moral high ground towards people who are exactly like you is a macabre poetry on the state that is and what will continue to be the western hemisphere. Feel free to denounce this comment without actually reading a single sentence. I'm sure it'll be easier then having a decent attention span.
