I had a one node, two leaf unrooted cutting of Hoya VL9, I’ve never had any problems in rooting my Hoya but this one proved me wrong. It died but yes it is so very pretty in person!
Fun video with many Hoya beauties. Many thanks. I especially liked the Hoya VL -9., so beautiful. You have great variety in your collection and you are always introducing me to a new and wonderful Hoya that I never even knew existed.🙂. Bravo and thank you! Take care. 👌🪴🥰
Oh very cool. Yes, they are fun Hoyas, and yours will grow. Then you can worry about what to do with those big plants. Thanks for watching and adding your comment.
...and that's fine. I like it on some Hoyas, not so much on others. The fun is that you get to grow your plants in whatever way brings you joy and satisfaction. We're here to encourage you. Thanks for watching and commenting.
Lol, I didn't read the whole title. I just saw endauensis and I was on! After you presented the manipurensis, I thought it would be nice if the next was the GPS 7240! Boom, there it was! I love the purplish color when sun stressed, looks like grapes. Big coffee beans? 😅! My fave out of the group is endauensis, so cute those ruffled edges, fast grower. My first was beautiful with some light red hues and dummy me decided to trellis it and it died a painful death! So my current one will just hang. Thanks for sharing as always 👍🏽Dee, NY
It's like you read the script, as if I had one. Thanks for watching and sharing your experiences. I think it's great for folks to know that it doesn''t always go well, the first time. Thanks again.
My idea is that people can see the possibilities - sometimes good, sometimes not so good, and sometimes surprising. Thanks for watching and sharing your comments.
I look forward, alllll week, to watching your video ❤ until the new video, I'm re watching your other videos and I learn something new every time. I would love a video on where your hoyas live. Just to see your set up. That's my conundrum 😂😂😂😂😂
Lidia - Thank you so much. Oh, I'd really need to tidy up the plant room if I'm having company. That is an interesting idea, let me work on that a bit. Thanks for watching and adding your comment.
Thanks for asking. I moved the Thomsonii up, a bit closer to the overhead grow light. It's not directly under the light, but just a bit to the side. Thanks for watching and your question.
Thank you. I've been using the "Sulfur Plant Fungicide" by Bonide. I'd seen other Hoyaheads use it, and it has worked for me. I suggest a mask and maybe gloves when mixing and using it. Thanks for watching and your question.
Thanks for asking. Most, but not all of them, I've got some in an organic mix. The pon-ish just seems to work for me. But I think the "secret" isn't the pon as much as the self-watering, wick-based pots. Thanks for watching and your question.
I have had mealy bugs, and first thing is isolate the plant. I go after them with a cheap watercolor paint brush and rubbing alcohol. The bristles get into places a cotton swab can't. If the infestation is too out of control, I'll spray the plant with rubbing alcohol. If all of that doesn't work, well, I might promote the plant to compost. Thanks for watching and asking.
I love your beautiful porch/sunroom too. I can only dream lol. What a lovely space!
Thank you. It's my favorite room in the house for the eight months it's usable. But for those eight months, wow. Thanks for watching and your coment.
OMG, that thomsonii bloom is to die for! 😮😊
Hi Mona! I agree. I waited a couple for years for that bloom and it was definately worth it. Thanks for watching.
@PlantedInRI I came close to buying the thomsonii a few times, but after seeing the bloom, I am on a mission to get one now.
Hoya endauensis has been on my wishlist for awhile now. So pretty!
H endauensis is a very pretty Hoya, and definately worth searching out. Thanks for watching and adding your comment.

Don't you hate it when that happens? You'll try again. Thanks for watching and adding a coment.

Thanks so much for your kind words. I appreciate you watching and sharing your comments.
I have the same Hoyas but mine are smaller than yours. I agree that each one you showed us is worth the press. Hoyas are amazing 🤩

I am it a fan of sun stressed

Thanks for sharing love Hoyas and you have some really cool specimens❤
Thank you. Thanks, too, for watching and adding your comment.
“Big coffee beans” So funny 😁 Thanks for the lovely content.

The first 3 are all on my wishlist! it was so wonderful seeing mature plants of those!

Okay, sp. VL-9 added to the list. 😊
I understand why, but it's not my fault. Oh wait, I blame Miro all the time. OK, it's my fault. Don't buy one.
@@PlantedInRI hey, let's all blame Miro. 😆
My endauensis and kanyuk and thompsonii are my TOP FAVS.
I agree, they are all great Hoyas. Thanks for watching and adding your coment.
Did you move you thompsonii away or closer to the light?
Thanks for asking. I moved the Thomsonii up, a bit closer to the overhead grow light. It's not directly under the light, but just a bit to the side. Thanks for watching and your question.
Beautiful Hoyas! What brand of sulfur are you using?

Do you put all your hoyas in pon? 🍸🇳🇿

Wow, can you tell me have you had mealy bugs and have you found a way to get rid of them. I have used Neam oil I steal keep fighting with them.

Nice looking Hoya's I also have a cutting of the H. enddauensis and H. manipurensis. I'm waiting for them to take off.
Congrats and good luck. They're such fun Hoyas. Thanks for watching and contributing your comment.
My GPS 7240 is gone. Sounds like the same issues.
With that one I'm trying to treat it like an H sigillatis this time, and that seems to be working.
@@PlantedInRI and how do you treat the sigi?
A very airy mix. I water-through on the weekend and do a slight touch up mid-week. Really good light, and if you find a place it likes, don't move it.
Endauensis very sensitive to cold in my experience
Thanks for watching and sharing your experience. I hadn't thought of that, but it makes sense.
