I'm amazed how many people think you can drag a 30+ year old car to the track and not expect it to blow up on them almost immediately. Before the roll cage they should've completely rebuilt the engine, clutch, torque tube, transmission, suspension, and brakes. Then there are lots of other details, such as the fuel lines, fuel pump, inspection and repair of the car's wire harnesses, and...on and on. Then a roll cage...and don't be surprised if that destroys the resale value, not increases it, because you're butchered the car to put in a roll cage, then beat the crap out of it on a track.
