The red deer rut is one of the most spectacular wildlife events in the UK. You can see it in London's royal parks (Bushy Park and Richmond Park). In this film, made in collaboration with LUMIX, I let you in on some of my advice for filming the red deer rut, both in terms of camera settings and techniques, but also keeping safe and respectful when filming animals.

How did you find using the Peak Design tripod when filming? I also noticed that you left the rails behind on the second day, were they more of a hindrance with this setup?
I’m gonna be travelling for quite a long time at the end of the year and really don’t want to bring a fluid head with me for the occasional wildlife shoot if I can help it 😬

Really great video! One of my goals this year is to step up my wildlife filming abilities so I can incorporate more of that on my own channel, and this video had some great tips. Plus those were some lovely shots of the rut
