Way to go Coop. I've had the pleasure of meeting you and talking to you a few times on the Packery Channel South Jetties. You are very generous with your time and have shared great advice for catching fish. Thank you for another fantastic video.
I met the owners of NLBN out at Seba and they gave me a few lures. They are great guys and really down to earth. It was crazy bad conditions and the lures did not let down. I'm hooked on them! Great vid keep them coming!
Coop release some merch, guaranteed customer here. Me my dad and my girlfriend look forward and are excited every new video you release. Sending you some 210 love brother
I agree with both you guys there is a popular lure maker (R) that calls those surface lures Shallow water lures and I do replace the hooks as mentioned
Coop,if you ever fish the Dams in Alabama( Afew of them, I fished Lay Dam a lot)..use those white grubby lures, with a 1 to 2ounce white colored jig head in the fast water.. In the spring...big stripers and hybrids...lots of them. It would be a Good video, just watch out for big fish spewing milt in big streams.....
Whats good Coop keep up the good work. Questions how do you know when the water clarity is good we were just down there this past weekend from Austin. On the North jetty water was just to murky. Seemed like no bites
Coop is the definition of a “Fisher-Man”. I’d have quit and gone to H‑E‑B and bought me some fish after 2 hours of no bites. Coop sticks it out and catches monsters. Kudos.
It's possible if you have 20-30lb braid but the issue is you are making long casts and letting it sink down dozens more feet so you may not have enough line and if you're using that lighter braid it will cut at the sight of a rock.
@@ThresherFishing appreciate it I’m probably gonna try it I got 30lb line and I’m gonna run a mono leader but if all else fails I’m use my 6000 it’s jus a lil on the heavy side
I was using a 10' penn carnage II with a penn slammer III 5500. Not the best setup for everyone because the rod is a bit heavy but I really like it because it can cast heavy lures very far.
Hey bro ive been following since forever bro... good content .... bt wat u knw what id like to see you try brother are the spooltek lures bro....i have like three diffrent ones bt ive never had a chance to try them... you should get some and try them out .... hope you read my coment 😬... stay hooked my friend!!!!
Ok so I bought that same lure. I am a terrible fisherman and have no friends that fish so lemme ask a couple of rookie questions. What rod size is that? Medium light? You cast it with no effort haha
Hold up…
Lmao..... holy shyt that was funny!
Don’t hate the playa, hate the game 😂
You and @justin_menendez 1v1 on NLBN 🤔 Would be a dope video.
Gotta admit, that was cold blooded by Coop
What did Coop say somebody gimme a time stamp lol I'm to busy to watch

Great video, as always. Thanks! Also loved the clip of Alex Peric losing that fish.
Gotta be the most memorable 10 seconds on all of TH-cam fishing lol love it
Hell of job coop and sharing your bait too. You the man bro
It was cool to see you out there using nlbn, hope to see you again!
My man....thanks for the video Coop. Can't wait to watch it later tonight....

Good job Coop. Glad you landed those monsters. Enjoyed watching. Merry Christmas!!
Just picked up some of the smaller NLBN paddle tails for flats in the yak... 1st time got 2 trout and 2 reds slot, had a few rats and dinks also 🤙
Commenting for the OSRS tune at the end of the vid. Nice reds!
Damn Coop didn't know you had beef with Justin 😂
What’s crazy is I watched like 2-3 of his videos b4 I got here. 😂 TH-cam stirring the pot haha
Nicely done also try shallow water large rapala just exchange the treble hooks with large single hooks.. loving the jetty fishing
Awesome man. Way to go. I like these big lures. Keep them coming brother 👏🙌👍

Coop putting in work
COOP!!! Merry Christmas Man. Stay Up.
Dedication paid off. 👏
the fact that you shared the lures man that’s what its about! S/N when’s the last time you hooped?
Merry Christmas Coop! Guess I need to buy some more lures!
I definitely need to find and buy those baits I been looking for big swim baits!
Recommend putting a zip tie in front of the hook prevents it from ripping
I have heard that Gafftop eat the cabbage heads. Not sure if its true, but i do seem to catch more when the cabbage heads are around.
Large surface lures and don't forget to replace the hooks with big single hooks
Agreed surface lures, fast retrieve with single hooks
I agree with both you guys there is a popular lure maker (R) that calls those surface lures Shallow water lures and I do replace the hooks as mentioned
The OSRS theme song at the end >>>
I hooked tarpon on the 3" inch twisted tea color i have a video on it they work real well almost too well for tarpon
NLBN are awesome!!!
what size nlbn paddle and jig were you using ?
This is a great vid, what time of year was this and where? And also what footwear were you using cause it gets slippery out there.

Hang in there Coop. Many of us know you are one of the best.
Merry Christmas. big fish sir,natural
Was on GISP last week and saw some huge Sheepheads munching away on a cabbage. No clue what the nutritional value is, but they seemed to love it 😂

Always killin them bro ! Would you mind sharing your rod/reel setup, size on reel and length on rod?
Get’em Koop!
great vid. always entertaining
Nice water for that time of year.
Just curious on braid leader setup and go to knot
Awesome video!
Nice reds man , need to get me some of those artificial bait!!
And need to get out fishing 😅
Whats good Coop keep up the good work. Questions how do you know when the water clarity is good we were just down there this past weekend from Austin. On the North jetty water was just to murky. Seemed like no bites
Extended periods of light winds can mean nicer waters but is not always true. Check out surf webcams to get a good idea.
in the winter, fish on the incoming tide. you will get more bite.
When you switched to the 3oz did you stick to the 5 inch ? Or you moved to the 8 inch ?
Justin casts better than most people I’ve ever seen
Awesome vids. Just wondering about those cleats you use on your shoes to get around those slippery green jetty rocks.

@@ThresherFishing Thanks, Bro.
What weight jig do you like throwing on the jetties with the 5" NLBN paddle tails?
I was using 2oz mostly.
No way you call Justin out like that!!! LOL
Call 'em like I see 'em.
Head to Port Sarim, the great catch is only overshadowed by the excellent music.
All that water and docks in port sarim but no fishing spots!
Called out JM, haha.
Mannnn, I'm real close to loading up my gear !!!! Sheeeesh
"BANG, zzrrinng, zzrrinng, zzrrinng, and You're hooked up."

What size reel
Damn callin out JM n JonB from FL
Hey bro you think a 4000 size spinning reel with a 7ft heavy rod handle them reds?

So much love for JM 😂. Glad to see the Florida youtube fishing scene is as bitchy as the Australian scene
Dude I got the same lures awhile back but ididnt think they were going to be that big what size oz where you using with those lures?
I was using 2oz jighead because I was fishing pretty deep 25'+
Where do you get your swim baits?
Some local shops may have them but you can get them at nlbn.com
Peric scene on point
COOP! Get some!
What part of Florida is this ?
What happened to your buddy that ran the Texas redfish channel? Merry Christmas and thanks for the videos
Sadly he got super rich off his engineering degree.
The NLBN LIL MULLETS ARE🔥Gotta try those Coop
stay tuned 👀
What is this place? Is this Florida?
What rod set up do you usually use for jetty fishing/pier/surf fishing?
I was using a 10' penn carnage II with a penn slammer III 5500. Not the best setup for everyone because the rod is a bit heavy but I really like it because it can cast heavy lures very far.
Thank you so much!@@ThresherFishing
Hey man can you send me the link to those swimbaits and hooks please!!!

And like; what’s the best way to work it? Sling it out and let it hit bottom the twitch twitch pause retrieve??
Bump lol
Nice!
You didn’t need to hate on Justin menendez
Hot-diggety Coop!
