no matter how much people dislike dm they have to admit he knows this game like the back of his hand and he is really smart and helpful in some of his tips, I will admit there were times where even I disliked him, but you have to respect the man for his knowledge and wanting to get people to be the best they can be at the game. This video was really informative and straight forward, keep up the good work dm.

I don't even think he is trying to be an ass most of the time, He is brutally honest with almost no filter no matter who or what he is talking about and people don't like brutal honesty if it is negative. like I said there have been times where even in game he has called me out for making mistakes and made me feel like an ass, but in the long run it helped me learn and now he is trying to actively increase the skill level of general players with these vids, he has earned my 100% respect even if I don't agree with everything he says

How to dodge Thanotos ult without moves: run forward until you think they are going to dive, instant 180 and run full speed back on your self, if they have 80+ ping/aren't playing perfectly and you guessed it right they'll miss.
Added benefit is if you do it early it'll make a good thano spend more time lining it up properly giving and extra second for team save or cooldowns.
The ping does affect this move in such a great way as you mention. The difference between a good 30-50 and a 110-130 is pretty noticeable when trying to land it. If someone is juking or baiting the ult out (like you mentioned) when I have higher ping I will rarely land it without assistance (slow, stun, distraction, etc.). Add a little extra movement speed from various items and abilities, and the equation becomes a bit more complex when trying to land this ult when you have higher ping than your opponent.
If conditions are good for the thanatos (good ping, enemy has boots only), and you center the ult (as DM says, which is usually a good idea), the enemy can still almost get out of the circle - so when you add in external factors, which are uncontrollable to some degree like ping, its alot easier than it seems to miss his ult.
When someone dodges the ult more than once or maybe twice a game due to good jukes/movement and other factors, personally, I wont bother using the ult on that player anymore. Its not a bad escape if you screw up and need to reposition, wasteful, but effective.

A little late to the party, but would hydra's lament be worth for thanatos? My typical build is shield of regrowth, boots, hydra's lament, jotunns wrath, shifter shield/blood forge, and then 1 more defense item for what is needed
How to Play Thanatos: Master hitting your 1 and then out sustain everyone on the map and hit 4 all the time
dwight macphee damn straight, if tou have that sorted as long as your build isnt terrible, you'll mop the floor with everybody, even a team full of lokis.

When you talk about SWK hitting multiple peoples the gladiators shield says it only triggers once per ability. Does this not mean it only triggers for one god even if you hit multiple or that abilities that hit twice like Odin's spin only trigger one heal?
Tusin son of Vorin it procs once per ability per god hit. So hitting 5 gods with 1 ability gives you the heal 5 times

Thanatos ult is not jumpable on all gods, Anhur and ullr both have a massive pre jump delay

Do you know hoyi jump is not complete until u hit mid way up? Most of the time you can hit him with any stun. Also once in air you can tell where he going to jump down, if he stays longer easier to catch him up. Ulr jump is faster and landing is faster compare to hoyi. Yes, hoyi jump is easier to cast you dont have to aim but ulr jump is way better on getting out of situations. Anhur has worst jump. His jump delay and landing delay is shiet next is neith's flip.

Listen, never give up on you main, become the very best at him if you love him so much. I nearly gave up on Bellona even after having 7 stars on her. i felt weak and powerless, (the news about the nerf didnt help either). But then i remebered why I like Bellona so much, she is always smiling in defeat or victory, she never gives up, she is always happy to be in the fight, she is a badass and would probably strangle me if i dared give up. that said ill never give up on my (Bae) main again, show them real fear, show them who is boss, never give up. Diminishing returns. Basically a protection from CC(crowd Controll) chains so you can not be stunned for days.

A good thana player needs to hit his 1 most of the time since it's the most damaging ability in his kit and gives him hell a lot of sustain. Your ult isn't a big threat because the radius is really big. Obviously people can juke it but if you know where you have to place that circle everything should be alright. Jumpers are the biggest problem but imagine you chase an enemy, let's say it's Hun Batz. You hit your scythe and now he is on low health and he is standing pretty close to you. There is a wall nearby and he jumps over it because otherwise he knows you have your 2 or maybe your 3 if you haven't used it yet. Then you have to ult. Now if you know how to place your ult the only thing that can stop you is Aegis or something like Meditation. If he uses the aegis or meditation it's fine because the cooldown on your 1
should be lower than the cd on his jump. And if you hit it it should be a kill.

GX4 Trap what he is saying (so far as I am in the vid) focus on death scythe as a main focus. Pick skills to up stats to aim for what an assasin uses. Look up an assassin tip video, not all assassins play exactly the same but it’s something to learn and might be easier for you

I am trying to learn Thanatos better myself. I recommend looking up a jungle guide as well, as Thanatos is usually used for jungling

Dodging than's ult is actually not that easy, sometimes you are in an even worse situation and your only escape is aegis, which is almost impossible to pull off
