- The Snoek chases its highest performance road bike yet, possibly a Trek Madone with a Princeton Carbonworks wheelset, through the double I-10 Interchange on The Loop.

You definitely crushed him. He soothed his wounded ego by telling himself he was up against a motorized bike. I think I read somewhere that if one trains against mountain lions (and lives), one may have humans for lunch...Great Vid as always. Thx.
Ha ha, thanks. Nice reference to mountain lions!
2:57 It looks like he radio's in to his team car and has a quick chat. The team manager tells him to let you go.
I'm sure I could be caught on the ascent to Rancho Vistoso. Luckily, I turn off the Loop before then.
He didn’t seem too interested in chasing, frankly.
Oh, he did chase steadily, maybe not at full gas. He stayed a fixed distance behind me for a quite while longer than the video. Almost everyone else drops off really fast. In other words, he matched my speed for a long time.
I'm going uphill after I-10 until I get home, see profile sandiway.arizona.edu/snoek/feb62024profile.png
Your just mean, picking on a roady , o how I wish I was 35 again and had a Snoek L but I’m not and I don’t have, O’well I just ride my Quatrevelo nice and easy, when I’m bored I’ll watch your video’s.
Ha ha, never too late to get a fast velomobile! Life's too short to not have a go.
Are you like that kid in a Honda civic who claims to have beat everyone who wasn’t racing in a street race? Looks it
Just a bit of fun. But the dude who seems seriously fit was motoring along at a pretty fast pace before I caught him. Velomobiles aren't welcome in real bicycle races anyway, Plus velomobiles would lose on any course with serious hills. As I said, I must enjoy these tidbits.
You can't compare biking and cars. If you're on a race bike and you see someone else on a race bike it either becomes a short group ride or a bit of friendly competition. No need for an ego here
@@Coastal_Cruzer of course it’s not an apples to apples comparison, just like his fitness is probably in another zip code conpared to mine. But the difference in machine technology certainly can bridge that gap in fitness under these conditions
@@laidbackracing5559 when did I say the velomobile is a car? Did you even read the original comment or do you have dementia
@@shenzhenpingpong I was saying that in response to the original comment not your reply
