Whether you're a new player or you've played a decent amount of Death Must Die there is a lot to this game that some players won't pay attention to or they won't fully understand no matter how much they play so in this video we're going through 9 big mistakes I've made in my time on the game to try and help you guys avoid making the same ones.
This is Death Must Die tips and tricks for those that don't like seeing things as mistakes and I'm in no way telling you you're bad at the game, I'm just trying to help you avoid doing the same things wrong that I did and still do occasionally. Most of these are terrible advice. Stacking damage sources is incredibly strong and should be done with best judgement. In your example let’s say I have war death and fire and I ignored everything besides 1 skill of each.. I’m now missing sources of rupture, curse, and burning that could trigger insane secondary effects like attack speed triggers, mayham ramping, combust sources… or god forbid you get malady.
This is just one example and having spell damage %+s is stronger to more skills than it is one.
I didn’t finish the video yet, but in the beginning you are going between packs with no enemies around you, and still attacking. I have started toggling off my attack when I’m not actively attacking because you moves slower when you are attacking.
Yeah this is a failure of a TH-cam channel in the making lol... To have a decent channel based around guides, you probably need a guy who understands game mechanics better... or at least does research before giving horrible "tips". His other video people were telling him about this and he was just straight up arguing with them lmao...
Making a mistake is one thing.. But dying on the hill that auto attacking 24/7 is just as good as not, is a big yikes.
Loving this game, they way all the characters interact with one another is hilarious

Well, I have like 10 hours in the game and these tips are terrible from my point of view. First of all why u dont toggle autoattack when u walk without enemies around you. I only use toggle on Merris and I can eat my food with second hand and farm items. U need a little bit of micro with melee characters if. Second of all the things u said about avalon being good vs big guys and Nixi being good vs skeletons is completely nonsense. About the gearing and build system I agree with you, If items has a lot of green numbers but you would need to change it for alteration rolls, I would change that either if you are looking for specific enchant on u and for the last u can completely ignor vases, just take rare items and you can sell them later for like 200g instead breaking vases where u can get like 20 g max if u are lucky
I got Merris and she hard to get her good gear but once u lv her she God like :). She kills everything like cutting knife to butter. Try to get her alot armor spells she squishy, critical damage , dont get much spell damage, speed buffs she a nasty mage.
💯 Merris is insane when you focus on spell dmg and try to stack spell projectiles. Also stack armor whenever you see a forge.
4:00 I think it was just a misspeak but it’s not 12% to deal 4% extra damage it’s just 12% to deal a second attack but you also receive a passive 4% damage increase.

honestly all you need is Merris and a few alteration dice to get gem high then turn on auto attack and profit
