Goddess the manager who hires you will ask you to get a food worker card from your local city. They should hand you a paper or note of a website to buy a licensed food worker test and if you complete the test(pretty easy), you can print a food worker card then show your manager then they will go from their and assign you for an orientation
Got an interview in 2 hours this video helped me get a bit more prepared

@@sevannahmyers3257 what did they ask? Did you get the job?
@@catpaws1913 hey I think so!! The manager came about 2 hrs late (traffic) so all 3 of us waiting had to do a group interview instead of a face-to-face interview. We got asked normal questions like if we've worked before and what we're doing in sixth form and at uni and then we got asked about 4 questions each to save time. I was asked what does respect mean, who is my role model and why, why is it important to give fast and friendly service and I've forgotten the last one

I applied last night online and they just called me for an interview later today! 😊
Hi everyone! Update: I applied on a Monday night, got called Tuesday morning, had my interview Tuesday afternoon, and my first day was Wednesday evening. Today was my second day. She didn’t really ask me personal questions at my interview, it was more of her asking me if I had questions and then I filled out paper work and tax forms. If you get this job, do yourself a favor and get comfortable SUPPORTIVE shoes and maybe inserts. Watch your posture. Buy ibuprofen. Your feet WILL HURT. Mine are swollen but the pain is bearable. I’m enjoying it so far, and if anyone was worried about rude customers, I’ve had more funny ones than rude! Haven’t really dealt with anyone rude yet, just impatient. Good luck everyone
Rachel Edwards thanks😸🖤

My weakness: I sometimes may need a double take on learning something new, is that good? Oh and God bless
Brazen Brunette yes that’s good but than explain on how you will over come it. Kind of like the compliment sandwich “compliment insult and compliment”.
For example: “ I sometimes may need a double take on learning something new but over come it by_______”
I hope that helps, and god bless you too!

RAY RAY do you remember what she asked?
Have an interview tomorrow. 14 years old, first job interview.
How was your interview
Did you get it?
what did u apply for
I have an interview in an hour and I’m reading all the comments to be calm and it will be fine but I’m still shitting my self...
EDIT: I GOT THE JOB!!!!
Uniform how’d it go ? I have one later on 😭
trvpkaylaa it was easy, there was actually nothing to worry about.
The lady spoke to me for about 7 minutes and then she asked me to work for about 30 mins so that she could see my skills. I just made the drinks and espressos at the drive-thru. After the 30 minutes we’re up she asked me how it went and what I thought about the position and if I was still interested in the position. I said yes of course and they emailed me an hour later saying I got the job.
There’s nothing to be scared about. They don’t expect much from you in terms of all ready knowing what to do. They teach you everything on the spot.
Uniform that’s good !! I’m still a lil nervous but I think I got it lol . what do I bring to the interview?
trvpkaylaa I didn’t have to bring anything, I brought my passport and IDs but they didn’t ask for anything.

I have an interview tomorrow at 4pm. I'm about to binge on videos like these.
Chris Ciak same man. I’m panicking
@@ohangel0135 Don't even worry about it. All I was asked was:
-How old am I?
-What hours can I work?
-Do I have a reliable form of transportation?
-Do I have any sports I'll be doing during the school year?
Not all cases may be like mine but I'll tell you that I thought I was gonna mess up but when we were done I felt like I over-prepared. It's not that bad, you'll be fine.

EDIT 2: Plot twist-- managed to get a different position as a Deli clerk at a different store! 😎👌🏻
Which job did you like better the McDonalds job or the deli ?
@@johnnytsunami3558 so I didn't end up working at the McDonald's at all so I can't say for sure, but would still say I enjoyed the deli. Of course it had its own cons to it as all jobs do, but I feel like I got lucky in the sense of enjoying the majority of the people I worked with the most. That was like probably one of the main reasons that I was able to stay the amount of time that I did at that job before eventually moving on to my next job in the field that I've been aiming for, which is in healthcare. I also liked that you were able to do a variety of other things like package up food/prep, make tea, slice meat & cheese for people, etc.. so while it still is dealing with people, there's also other things to be done that can help time go by quick.

InTheShed How did it go?
I had an interview this morning and I think I got the job she was talking to me about training going and tomorrow I have to go back to fill out paper work. She did ask a lot of questions though.
ive got a interview tomorrow and i have a answer for most questions here and just wanted confirmation that this is the right things to say.
for the first question id answer "i can work anytime past 4pm for weekdays and anytime on a saterday past 8pm also i can do any school holiday anywhere past 10 pm from to saturday and i would prefer to to less time on all sundays but im flexible to what ever the restaurant needs."
for the second question id answer "i would hope to still be working with mcdonalds in 5 years weather that is in a higher position or still in the same position but i would love to be amazing at working here being a great employee"
for the third question id answer " a strength i have is im very good with staying focused to get the task completed after i have been given this task/challenge, a time that this has been tested was when i was in scouts i had to put in years of hard work and dedication to achieve the highest award that could be awarded and was in-fact on of the only people in the group to get this award. one of my weaknesses im aware of is that i used to be a bit to independent being scared to ask for help but i have been working on this by not being as independent and by trying to get involved with others to see if they need help and just asking for help when i need it and as far as i know i dont really feel as independent anymore
for the forth question id answer " i see customer service as being polite and giving the staff and restaurant a good name and to give the customer high standards and to ensure all the customer needs are met so they leave the restaurant in a better mood than they came in. and if any conflict were to happen then the conflict would be resolved a fast as possible weather its another customer or if they feel there needs were met and to go the extra mile to make sure the customer is satisfied.
