I watched this to prepare for an interview with costa and this was the only video specifically tailored to them. It helped a bunch and I just got an offer for the job! thank you so much!
I have my interview in 2 hours!! Thanks for this video, I'll update this comment if I got it Update 1: The manager mostly talked to me about working at costa, training, shifts etc, etc, and they asked me about previous work experience, why I wanted to work there. However, he asked me my age (16) and they said they haven't hired anyone that age before so... But I have a trial shift on the weekend for 2 hours during the busy time to train, and after they'll discuss with their team whether I'm a good fit, but probably not as there are most likely way more experienced people than me applying. Also the wage is £10.36 regardless of age which is pretty insane imo ! Update 2: I didn’t get it as the manager said as a 16 year old I can only do a maximum of 12 hours a week and she needed someone who could do 20-25 so… 😭 Tips: the manager will ask if you want a drink at the beginning of the interview. Say yes as this shows you like Costa’s product. And you go in for a trial shift after a few days
Got an interview at costa today aaa, this video is making me less nervous and feeling prepared edit: Got the job! They didn't even ask me anything, just if I'd be comfortable with their shifts and how much the salary would be, how long the training would take.. And got told that gotta cover up my piercing due to their policy in a very friendly manner!
i have an interview later today! this has been very helpful as i always worry i’m going to phrase what i want to say wrong! i’ll update with how it goes :))
Hey! I just had an interview with costa after watching this video!! This really helped. Anyway, she told me she will email me regarding a tryout so I’ll let you guys know what happens. She just asked for my previous work experience, why I left, what I could bring to the team, why I want to work there and questions :)
I had a Costa interview today and it was very very easy?? He asked for my availability and where I have previously worked and that was it! Very anticlimactic as I prepared long answers for an interview which lasted quicker than one of my answers
I've applied for a job as a part time barista at my local costa, I really hope I get it as it's such a lovely place and the team are really friendly. I've always been intrigued about what it would be like to work there :)
@@TheCompleteGuide1 they asked me all the questions on this video as well as some questions like “tell me about a time you worked in a team” “tell me about a time you worked towards a target” “when have you supported someone” etc. I got the job - thank you so much for this video!
